Chapter 87 - Chapter 87 - It's Time to Bring Terror to This City.

[Chapter Size: 2100 Words.]

Third Person POV.

Kingsland.

...

...

Leaving the new king in a frenzy upon learning that the Iron Throne had been stolen and replaced with a toilet full of shit—which would leave a rather unpleasant smell lingering in that room for weeks—Jon quickly set off for the city. He had to deal with some people who had proven to be not so trustworthy after all.

Arya was suspicious of the people who had found her as soon as she emerged from the secret passages within the Red Keep. As that person had instructed, she followed the rat and found an exit, where a group of four people was already waiting for her.

"So, it's you. Let's go." one of them said, while Arya, unsure of what to do, took one last look back before stepping forward, following four people who were not beggars but also not nobles—more like mercenaries.

Near the sewers, through one of the openings, she ended up following them. They moved towards the Street of Silk, always avoiding the main roads or any place with too many guards, while the entire city was focused on the Sept of Baelor for the king's funeral and the coronation of King Robert.

They entered a house in the poorest part of the city and placed Arya in a room. Although she was somewhat forced into it—since she didn't want to stay there—she had no choice. She hoped these strangers were truly trustworthy, as they had taken her out of the Red Keep. However, it didn't seem to be the case when she overheard a meeting taking place at that very moment.

"I... I'm sure she's important." one of the four people said in another room.

"Are you sure we can get some gold for her?" another asked.

"Of course. More than that stranger offered us."

"Alright, then we'll trust that."

The person spoke, and everyone agreed.

A little later, as night was approaching, they went to alert the guards. Arya was caught by surprise when the door suddenly opened, and she widened her eyes upon seeing two guards in red cloaks analyzing her.

"Who are you, girl?" they asked.

Arya didn't answer, still staring at them in fear.

"If she came out of the Red Keep as they said, she must be important. Despite wearing clothes like a squire, which is strange. Let's take her. She doesn't seem to be one of Varys's spies."

One of the men stepped closer and grabbed Arya before she could escape. He forced her mouth open, checking if she still had her tongue, before saying his final words.

"Alright, let's take her. Someone must know what to do with her."

Arya quickly tried to break free but couldn't. She was dragged away by force, exclaiming desperately:

"Let me go!!"

But it was no use. The guards handed a few gold coins to the four men Jon had paid to protect the girl.

Arya barely had time to react before a sack was placed over her head, preventing her from seeing anything. She struggled, but in vain. The men put her on a horse and began to ride away, leaving that place and heading back toward the Red Keep.

She was frustrated. In the end, her escape attempt had been a failure. Jon had been betrayed by the mercenaries he hired after all, and now Arya was returning to the very place she had fled from, unable to do anything but wait for her fate to unfold.

"Hey, you! Get out of the way, quickly!" one of the guards suddenly exclaimed.

Arya only listened.

"I said move aside, stranger! If not, you'll be thrown into the dungeons like the others!"

Once again, the guards shouted, but no one seemed to move. The silence was eerie.

Arya was confused as she heard the sound of blades being drawn. Suddenly, the screams of the two men who had captured her echoed through the air. Then, everything went silent.

She felt her body being pulled down from the horse. Still frightened, she waited, until her blindfold was removed. She blinked a few times and, as she looked around, the first thing she noticed were the two bodies lying on the ground.

A silhouette stood there, watching her.

She recognized the person immediately.

"You... You're the one from Winterfell, the one I found in the stables! ...Jon Snow?"

"From what I've seen, you're a pretty tough girl." he said while untying the ropes that bound Arya, without even answering her question.

"Were you the one in the secret passages too?!" she asked in the end.

"Of course. But it seems that those four men I trusted with you handed you over to the guards. What a waste, and I didn't even have time to put you somewhere else. Whatever..." he said in a dark tone.

"What are you going to do?" she murmured, finally free.

"Isn't it obvious? I'm going to deal with them. You wait near the entrance." he said at the end. He didn't intend to take care of the girl, but now he had no choice.

She followed him back to the house, which wasn't far, while the people on the street glanced at the dead guards and ran away.

Arya just watched as Jon entered the place where the traitors were.

Jon opened the door with ease and found them sitting around, talking as they spread out the gold to divide it. He had never asked for the location of their hideout—he had only asked them to take someone to a safe place, away from the guards. That's why Jon believed they were safe and merely taking advantage of him by making more money off the girl.

What they didn't imagine was that Jon had a few animals tracking them when he left the Red Keep. He had been hoping to have more fun watching the king lose his precious chair to a pile of shit.

The mercenaries didn't even notice his presence, thanks to his thief skills, as he stood in the same room, watching them laugh and mock how the fool who had paid them before had been too naïve. Too bad they had no idea what would happen to them for doing something like that to someone like him.

"What do we have here?"

Jon's voice rang out, making the four mercenaries nearly jump in surprise upon hearing that tone—far deeper than any of theirs.

Their eyes snapped directly to Jon, widening in shock as he continued.

"You're counting my gold along with the gold you got from the guards? You seem quite happy."

Jon spoke calmly, catching them off guard. For a few seconds, they didn't seem to know how to react.

"You?!" one of them exclaimed.

"Exactly." Jon mocked as he stepped forward.

"Damn it, kill him!"

There was no more room for discussion—they now had to kill the stranger to keep the gold.

As they all lunged at him, their battle cries quickly turned into screams of pain. Jon moved fast enough that none of them could react in time, slicing through their limbs and beheading them as the very gold they had been counting was now bathed in blood.

"Incredible..."

A voice came from behind him.

Arya Stark stood at the entrance, watching. She had stepped inside, and there was no look of fear on her face as she saw the men dying in such a brutal way. Despite the surprise—she had never seen anyone move like that, not even her dance teacher—she still stood there, fascinated.

"You seem very calm about this."

Jon raised an eyebrow. He had already noticed her presence but hadn't let it stop him. He had expected a child to scream in terror—but that wasn't the case.

"I still need to do something. Get out of the house, you better not be inside... after all, you're going to die."

He spoke suddenly.

"Yes!" Arya now seemed terrified and ran outside.

Jon was left alone with the corpses now and looked up at the ceiling.

"Let's start the show," he commented.

Taking a deep breath, filling his lungs with air, he then roared upwards.

"Yol Toor!"

He only used two of the three words—it was enough. Otherwise, it would have caused the same destruction as a dragon breathing fire, igniting all the nearby houses in a hellish blaze.

In the next moment, an explosion of flames burst forward, shooting directly at the ceiling.

The fire consumed everything, and outside, Arya's eyes widened like never before as the rooftop shattered and a pillar of fire rose high, illuminating the entire city as the night began to fall over King's Landing. The sight drew the attention of the entire city.

As the fire rose into the sky of King's Landing with an explosive sound, the entire house began to burn, starting from the roof. Jon simply turned and began to walk away, finding Arya frozen near the entrance along with numerous residents of the Street of Silk, screaming in terror.

"Let's go. There's nothing more to do here," he simply said, grabbing her by the shoulder.

"Wait... what did you do... I mean, did you do that?!"

She had questions that seemed impossible—after all, Jon had only been inside for two minutes.

"It doesn't matter, just follow me," he said.

With no other choice, she nodded and followed him.

The place was left behind as guards quickly flooded the streets, trying to control the fire. At least that house had been destroyed, with the bodies lying on top of the scattered gold coins—coins Jon hadn't even bothered to retrieve.

This left the city in a panic for the next few days. No one could explain what had happened there, and with the two dead guards found near the house, rumors only grew wilder.

There was also talk that someone had stolen the Iron Throne while they were forced to clean the throne room. The servants were disgusted to see shit spread everywhere, but they had no choice—especially after the king killed a servant who dared to question him about it.

In the end, Joffrey demanded the bastard son of Eddard Stark's head every single day, as he was the main suspect. The banners of the North had also been summoned, gathering in Winterfell. It seemed that war was finally brewing.

Jon watched it all as if he were enjoying a great show from atop one of the city's rooftops. He knew war was inevitable, even without his actions, but he enjoyed making life miserable for those in power.

Everything seemed normal until he noticed a certain movement—dozens of soldiers marching toward the Street of Silk. The people scrambled to get out of their way to avoid being pushed, though they still cursed at the guards from a distance due to all the chaos they had been causing in recent weeks—arresting people, looting homes, and stirring fear throughout the city.

Jon decided to see what was happening. Arya was safe in another house nearby while the guards moved in the opposite direction.

"Ahhh!!"

Screams began echoing from a window as a crowd gathered outside a brothel, with dozens of guards forming a wall between the building and the people.

"My son!!! AHHHHHHH!!!!!"

The wailing cries of a woman in utter despair grew louder.

"This..."

Jon watched the scene with deep disgust in his eyes.

He arrived just in time to see—through his sight of auras moving in human shapes behind the walls—a man restraining the woman who screamed, while others held a baby, with one person preparing to slit the child's throat.

The mother shrieked as she watched her baby die before her very eyes.

Jon had witnessed countless cruel scenes in his life in Skyrim, but the murder of a baby was something he could never accept, no matter how much he had seen.

In the next moment, he pulled up a hood to cover his face, then retrieved two simple swords from his dimensional space. Without hesitation, he dashed through the crowd, straight toward the group of thirty soldiers blocking the entrance, shocking everyone.

"Su Grah Dun!"

He roared his Shout as the soldiers, caught off guard by the stranger's sudden appearance, barely had time to react before he was already upon them—ready to cut them down.
