Two days, only two days are what's left until she is officially mine. Until she is my legally wedded wife. God!!!!! Even the thought of her being mine is so heavenly. Today is our pre-wedding photoshoot. I am literally so excited about it. Because today I will be finally watching her in wedding dress. Ever since we've bought the dresses, this will actually be the 1st time when I will get to witness how gorgeous she looks in them. I have my own fantasies about it actually, but I am pretty sure that the reality will be better than my own fantasies.
"Raidan, when are we leaving?" I heard M calling me from outside the kitchen. Well, we were supposed to pick up my parents, but they are going to be late, so, I won't be able to pick them up along with M. Well, I just found out myself, so I didn't get enough time to inform him.
"M, actually I just received a call. It was to inform that they are gonna be late. So, I am afraid that I won't be able to go with you to bring them. You will have to go alone, or you can just take either of the boys with you", I told him with a grin as my face turned into an apologetic look. There are actually two reasons behind it, but the most important one is, I know how much he hates it when one doesn't keep his word. "I'm sorry dude", I added. But surprisingly today he doesn't seem mad.
"It's fine dude. I understand, don't worry I'll pick them up. But since we are not going, maybe you should go to get ready as the photoshoot is just in about.... 45 minutes away", he said as he glanced over at the watch in his hand. God, I'm not really used to this understanding version of him. It's so weird. But he is right though, I don't have much time to be honest. I need to leave now, otherwise I'm sure to be late. Also, after reaching at the photoshoot location there's just so much that needs to be done. Man!!! Only if we'd enough time and we didn't have to rush like now, then we would have done everything just like how it is supposed to be done.
Just 3 hours are what it took to get us, and the set, ready for the photoshoot. Well personally, I don't like her friends but I must agree that they have done a wonderful job in the preparation of the wedding. We barely had any responsibilities on us, my friends and her friends handled everything. It's really something that I am grateful to them. I still haven't seen Lam; I don't know how gorgeous she is looking. I asked about her and they said just a little bit of final touch up is left, so, I am still waiting. 10 minutes later she walked out of her green room looking like nothing less than an angel. She's wearing an ice blue tissue off shoulder gown accentuated with heavily crystallised motifs all across and feather neckline. Well, we were supposed to have only white dresses but when I saw this dress, I instantly knew that this dress was meant for her. The moment my eyes fell on this dress the only thing I wanted was to see her in this dress. And now that I am finally watching her in this dress, it feels so heavenly. I am so happy that I choose this dress. The fact that she's so tiny is actually making it even sexier. She is probably the hottest bride I've ever seen. There's a necklace around her neck; a light blue gemstone designed in white gold. It looks just like cherry on top.
She looks absolutely fabulous. Man, I love her!!!! Now she's walking up to me slowly, so that the crown on her head doesn't fall. With that crown on her head she looks absolutely like the queen she is, the queen of my heart. Man, I love her.... I love her more than I ever thought I would love her. She is absolutely a miracle, the wonderful miracle that was meant for me, she's going to be my wife. Well, even the thought of having a future with her is so fascinating, a family, a wife, the mother of my child and a lifetime partner who's going to be mine and at the at the end of the day she's mine and only mine.
The photoshoot ended in just a few hours, it's more like we had to end it, as we had other plans. I mean we had a meet up planned for both families, mine and hers. I drive her to the inn where she was staying for now; only so that she could join the meet up with her parents, while I went to the hotel where my parents had checked in. I'm meeting my parents almost a year later, and it's always such a hassle to meet them. My mom just keeps on nagging and my dad.... he just does whatever my mom says. In my hometown they are the perfect power couple, they are always on the same page and there is literally nothing that can separate them. Now I am walking towards their room wondering about the things that I'll be nagged about along with the things that I might be scold for.
When I opened the door, there were they, the people I have seen growing up, the faces I have known the most in my life, my parents, my mom and dad. At the end of the day despite everything, I really love them a lot. I walked up to my parents, my mom is still the same, as beautiful as ever and my dad too is still the same. When I walked closer to them, I hugged my mom, this embrace, it feels like haven, and it smells like childhood.
"Hey mom, missed ya", I said to her as I kissed her forehead gently; and then looked at her with a smile and a facial expression that expresses exactly how much I have missed her. "You little brat, you're saying you missed me? Why didn't you ever call then?" My mom asked, demanding an answer. But I brushed her off and then I turned to look at dad, he's looking at me with an emotional yet proud facial expression. I hugged my old man too, as we let go dad said, "Look at you my son, you have grown up... You are getting married, I almost can't believe, when did you grow up this much??" His eyes are almost teary and my mom, she's already wiping her tears using her handkerchief. "You guys, what are you doing? It's a happy occasion, don't cry like this", I said to both of them, hugging them both.
