"President Yang,creating a new branch despite having a lot, don't you think it's absurd and a waste of time and resources" Mr Carl,one of the largest shareholders voiced out.
"I called for this meeting to discuss that with you all" President Yang voiced out.
"President Yang,It's known to us that a branch is still under construction and creating another branch should not be considered a priority "Another shareholder voiced out
Each shareholders continued to voice out their opinions,until one was for the motion.
"President Yang, Building a branch would benefit the people in case of employment and considering this aspect...."His words were left hanging when President Yang interrupted.
"Mr.Dickson,You should very well know, I care about results most especially profits,it seems after earning more of the company shares you have forfeited your intelligence in that aspect.
Moreover, Xander Corporation is for profit maximization not for job creation"President Yang aloof voice was heard.
"I apologize"Mr Dickson rendered a quick apology.
"Good! This is the end of the meeting and it has been decided that there will no be construction of branches until further notice!"President Yang voiced out before leaving the meeting room.
"What an arrogant man"Mr. Dickson smiled.

"Son?"
"Mother, is anything wrong"Alexander Yang questioned as he picked up the call.
"You this crazy son of mine, is it until something is wrong I must give u a call?"
"Mother, I'm..." His words were interrupted
"You didn't come on weekend as you promised, it's understandable cause you newlyweds love to try new things,The old man has decided that you both should have dinner tomorrow at the family house as he's eagr to see his daughter-in-law"
"Mom, tomorrow is a working day"
"I know and I don't care remember it's dinner not breakfast,so quickly wrap things up"

"No excuses! The old man and your father is really eager and anticipating to see their daughter-in-law"

Talking about Mia his mind drifted to their previous exchange of words,he let out a sigh before he sat on his swivel chair while he took a glance at the business contract.

"Sir"His assistant called and President Yang threw him a questioning gaze.
"Yoing Master Skye sent an invite to you" His assistant said as he handed the invite to him.
"Get back to work"
"Yes Sir"

"Morning Sir" Secretary Kim greeted.
"Morning Secretary Kim, pls hand in my schedule for the day"Young Master Skye (Kingsley) said as he made his way into the office.
"Most importantly, Get through to Mrs.Mia from the Skye media company for a short and brief meeting "He said as he entered his well furnished office ,Taking a sit he was handed a cup of coffee.

Mia was still in a sullen mood when she was called to Skye corporation.... She knew her workplace had now been acquired by the Skye's but meeting her boss who happened to be her colleague in high school made her feel nervous and at the same time awkward.
Bracing herself she went to the Skye corporation and had a brief talk with Kingsley.
Who knew he would ask her to be his date for the business party because she owed him a favour back then at the School Reunion.
She wasn't someone who would break promises but she had a husband now! And talking about her husband, he was a public figure an arrogant and domineering one also,How would he react and what would others think.
"Okay" She agreed. She decided to speak to Alex and talking about others, she was done thinking from their perspectives.
As a boss, he could have ordered her and commanded her but No! He decided to seek her and she would respect him for that.
He was miles different from Alex, He had a cheerful personality, Alex had a cold personality and Moreover Alex was arrogant and domineering
But of course, Alex to her was the most handsome among all.
She was really comparing Alex to her boss
"Mia, wake up and focus" she scolded herself.
Just then her phone beeped, she looked up to screen only to see it was the devil's call
"I'll pick you up from work" President Yang said as Mia answered his call.
"You don't need to, I can find my way"
"I'm telling you not asking you" He replied before hanging up.

"If you keep ordering her around, don't you think her view of you will keep worsening " Carlos reasoned
"You of all people knows I have to keep her in sight, we are married... The whole world knows, making her more prone to attacks. Have you found out who posted our certificates?"
" Not yet, I'm still on it but don't you think she has to know she's in danger?"
"You don't have to worry about that" Alex blurted out..
"As expected of President Yang" Carlos let's out a chuckle hearing Alex. Of course he knew Alex won't let it out to Mia for various reasons but he was certain since Alex had decided to marry her, he won't let harm come to her.
