By the time the announcer was done going through the long list of participants that would move onto the third round, both Valyr and Ataraxia decided to leave the tournament for the meantime, maximizing the four-day break everyone was given.
Making their way out of the amphitheater, Ataraxia looked back at Valyr as the latter's previous words lingered in his mind. "Did you expect yourself to be placed that low?"
"Honestly… I thought I would be placed even lower," replied Valyr with a slight nod. "After all, I didn't really show everything I could do during the fight against the beast."
