Kiyoshi's response positive enough for him to go to bed after taking a mental note to visit Haruki the next day to confirm he was okay.
The next day at work was busy and when he finally got the chance to eat lunch, he met Miyoko eating lunch in the cafeteria with the younger colleague who was excited about having a "sister-in-law".
The young man waved him over to their table excitedly as soon as he saw Hiroshi.
When Hiroshi got his meal, he hesitated to sit with them wondering what they were doing together considering Miyoko does not work in their hospital.
"I made a new friend today," Miyoko said gesturing to the young man. "His name is Itsuki isn't he so cute?"
Hiroshi returned the smile Miyoko gave him before turning to glare at the young man. The young man rose up hurriedly and picked up his tray of food.
"I will excuse my brother and sister-in-law immediately," the young man announced jokingly before hurrying away from them.
