Journee slept through the day while Ollie and Kay kept talking about their past lives. After leading a life of crime, they were on the side of the law, helping William and Journee. Journee sometimes used illegal measures, but William was a goody two-shoes; he never broke any rule except the time he saved Kay and Joanna.
Soon, Ollie left Kay alone. Kay went to Journee's room and peeped inside. She was lying spread-eagled on the bed. All her blanket was cuddled on the ground, and the AC was on full blast.
"Ah, this girl!" exclaimed Kay and went inside her room. He lifted the blanket and tucked her in. She groaned a little but went back to sleep. She knew that if she were inside her home with Kay, nothing would ever hurt her.
She slept for hours peacefully. She had been working late at night, and she needed her sleep. Finally, she woke up when her phone rang again.
"Hmm… yes!" she spoke without looking to see who was calling her.
