The Brigadier General in front of Antar was called Christopher Donahue, an old-school middle-aged Brigadier General.
This guy was a combat veteran, having participated in the wars in Iraq and Aqionghan, a real Brigadier General who climbed the ranks through his battlefield achievements.
He was previously assigned to Aqionghan as one of the commanders in Kabul, and now as the tenure of the "black guys" was counting down, the White House became anxious, so he was sent to Mosul.
Donahue brought to Antar a proposal that seemed inconceivable...
He suggested sectioning Mosul into zones, after which the United State Army's aircraft carriers would dispatch planes to conduct precise bombardments.
The NATO forces would then move into Mosul after the bombing to back up the P·B coalition, evacuating the local civilians.
They would be responsible for establishing defenses at strategic points, facilitating the withdrawal of P·B personnel.
