A few days later...
"Jae Ra... Why are you not talking, what's the matter darling."
My mom and dad stood right in front of my door, falling right into my perfect plan. Right then I slid my phone under the door. My phone was vibrating, making the floorboards rumble. My phone was getting a call, from none other than LIVEX Entertainment.
My mom confused yet curious picked up the phone. My mom answered the call, as I put my ear against their intently, "Hello, this is LIVEX Entertainment is this Kim Jae Ra?"
My mom sighed she seemed uneasy and perplexed at this stranger. I peeked through the hole in my door frame.
"Um... This is Kim JaeRa's parents and this is supposed to be..."
"We are a major K-pop entertainment company who looks to recruit young talents like your daughter and make them into stars by training and enhancing and refining their talents." The voice on the other hand calmly but professionally replied.
I squealed silently, super proud of the company for speaking so well, I'm sure my mom would be partially convinced now.
My mom was urging my dad to search them up. He nervously took out his phone, scrolling constantly. More confused and suprised expressions appearing on his face.
The my mom looked at my dad's phone. They went downstairs my mom talking to them in her strict professional voice, as I was dying out or curiousity as their voice became quieter.
As my mom descended the stairs, her expression was a mix of suspicion and concern. "So, you're from LIVEX Entertainment?" she inquired, her tone cautious.
"Yes, ma'am," one of the representatives replied respectfully. "We can prove it to you." They swiftly produced a folder filled with official emails, highlighting their correspondence with me. "Here are the emails we've exchanged, and you can also verify our contact information on our website."
Mom took a moment to peruse the emails, her brows furrowing in concentration. "And what exactly will you be doing with my daughter?" she questioned, her gaze sharp.
The company representative cleared their throat, ready to explain. "At LIVEX Entertainment, we specialize in developing young talents like Kim Jae Ra into K-pop stars. We provide comprehensive training in singing, dancing, stage presence, and more. Our goal is to refine her skills and prepare her for a successful career in the entertainment industry."
Meanwhile, Dad, with a gentler demeanor, chimed in. "That sounds like a wonderful opportunity for her. What kind of training programs do you offer?"
The representative launched into a detailed description of their training programs, outlining the rigorous yet rewarding process of becoming a K-pop idol. They discussed vocal coaching, dance classes, language lessons, and even the importance of physical fitness.
As the conversation continued downstairs, I couldn't contain my excitement. This was my dream come true, and I eagerly anticipated the journey ahead. Every word about the training program made my heart race with anticipation. This was the chance I had been waiting for, and it felt like everything was falling into place.
