Netherworld, deep within the Time Continent,
a desolate Gobi as far as the eye could see, the ground covered in oddly shaped dark grey boulders and gravel, with fierce winds blowing from all directions, issuing woeful howls near and far.
Above the wasteland, strange grayish-brown clouds floated in the sky. On closer inspection, the clouds were composed entirely of an odd type of spirit gold that resembled tin foil.
Above these clouds stood a vast complex of palaces stretching as far as the eye could see, this place was known as Tianjun City, the very location of the Heavenly Balance Sect's gate.
In the center of Tianjun City, headed by the Golden Spear Ancestor, the Sect Leader, several Nascent Soul Supreme Elders from within the sect sat cross-legged on jade seats, silently absorbing the overwhelming and formidable Thunder Power around them.
