The Qilin pursued for a while when suddenly the Birdman's body burst apart.
"See you, dead dog."
Ulysses cried out flamboyantly and dissolved into the Void.
The visage of Qilin grew grim.
Several Dragons hurried over and anxiously said:
"Emperor, the treasure hidden in the statue has been stolen."
"I know," Qilin said.
"But we didn't see the enemy."
"I know that as well."
Qilin pondered for a few moments, muttering to himself:
"...It must be an extremely sophisticated Concealing Skill. There is only one way now."
The Dragons seemed to recall something, shuddering collectively and exclaimed loudly:
"Please reconsider, Emperor."
"No need for more words," Qilin sneered, "I have endured till now to come forth, wishing to dominate the world, yet a human traitor meddles with my plans. If I do not avenge this, wouldn't it be laughable to other demons?"
The Dragons, sensing the killing intent surging from him, involuntarily closed their mouths.
