Lady Yan asked, "Where to?"
Yunlie said, "We're going to the Mu Family on Saturday to have a custom evening gown made for you."
"I have evening gowns."
"You need a new one."
"Then I can just buy a new one myself."
"It has to be haute couture."
Lady Yan furrowed her brows, "It's just a birthday party; does it have to be that fancy?"
"In front of the Mu Family, it does," Yunlie said. "If you find it troublesome, you don't have to go."
"I want to go. I can take this opportunity to meet the bigwigs of the business world. Why would I pass up such a good chance?"
"Then do as I say."
"Tomorrow is Sunday; there's less than a week left. Isn't it too late to order a custom dress now?"
"My little aunt recommended a store that can produce ready-to-wear in a few days."
"I thought you didn't care about the Mu Family. Why do you care so much?"
Lady Yan observed Yunlie's expression.
Whenever the Mu Family was mentioned, his face would turn very gloomy.
