A few moments later, the door opened, and a blonde Caucasian woman stood at the doorway, tall and wearing casual loungewear.
"May I call you Jenny?"
"Of course, although it's our first meeting, I have seen many reports about you, you are an amazing woman."
"Thank you, I'm also pleased to meet you. Can you tell me about any recent plans for the community?"
"Could you step out a bit? I'm not used to talking to people through a door."
"Sorry, that was my oversight," Muriel Baldini stepped outside.
Jenny sized her up and found nothing unusual, "Is there anyone else in your house?"
"No, why do you ask?"
"I apologize, Mrs. Baldini, but I lied just now."
"What do you mean?"
"I am not a community relations committee member." Jenny flashed her badge, "I am a Los Angeles police officer."
"Police?
What happened? Why did you pretend to be a community relations committee member and come to my house?"
