Wan Yiyuan stumbled out of the bar, onto the long street outside.
It was eight in the evening, hours before nightlife would peak, but this famous bar street was already bustling with people. Many trendy youngsters had arrived early to celebrate the festive occasion, to avoid missing out on a spot later on.
Wan Yiyuan had come since the afternoon, managing to knock on the door of a bar and inside he ordered two bottles of foreign liquor, drinking till now.
Now that the drinks were gone, and all his money spent, not a sliver of relief was found, and the fire in his heart burned fiercer, his eyes turning bloodshot red.
Pedestrians on the road quickly made way, not daring to provoke a conflict with the menacing-looking drunken man.
Wan Yiyuan thus reached the parking lot outside the bar street without incident.
Looking at his red BMW, he saw it as a blazing fire, murmuring repeatedly to himself: "Die, all of you, just die!"
