Hale asked with contempt in his eyes, seeing this the chief had cold sweat running down his spin
Although he knew that Hale didn't mean him any harm right now, he couldn't help but be afraid of him after he saw how he defeated Doja.
To answer Hale's question, the chief decided to start with an introduction
"First of all, my name is Dowan, the chief of this humble village. Our village has existed for a couple of hundred years now"
Hearing this, Hale had a twitch in his eyes.
Although he was curious about the ogres, he wasn't that interested about them, he wanted to know more about the exit to this cave.
"I'm not interested about the village Dowan, I'm more interested about getting out of this place, so would you tell me that So I can go my way?"

After listening to this Dowan could have sworn that he saw a twitch appear on Hale's face

Hale was on guard now, if the chief didn't know where the exit is then it only meant that he just wanted to get him inside for an ambush or something similar

That place, hearing this Hale was intrigued by it.
If what this frail looking ogres say is true then that might be the exit

Hale said in a demanding tone, to which the old ogre replied quickly
"If you go west of this village then you will come across a mountain, it will take you a couple of days just to get to that mountain, and a couple more to climb it, but after you reach the top you will come across an open plain where there is a huge door,
A door made out of pure gold and silver, it even glows in the dark"
Hale's eyes quickly lit up after the mention of the door Dowan was speaking of
Then does that mean that I have to fight a boss battle, what if the boss is too strong? what if there isn't anything after the boss and just loot of something like that>
Due to all the games, Hale had played in his life on earth as Karl, his mind was making up use less assumptions and his imagination was getting the better of him
Hale tried to calm his thoughts and decided to continue his conversation with the chief of the village
"So if I cross this door of gold and silver that you speak of then will I be able to go to the outside world?"
Hale had already assumed the answer, if not for the outside world, then why would the ogre be telling him this.
"Yes, that's what we presume to happen. "
"I see"
Hale crossed his arms and started to think for some time
Hale thought that there might be something that the chief was hiding from him if not then why we're they still here, living in this cave is difficult as it is without any sun light to grow any plants of herbs.
Hale quickly voice out his suspicious to the chief, as if expecting Hale to ask this question the chief couldn't help but sigh
"Look here human, it isn't that we tried to open the door, it's that we couldn't open it"
"What, you ogres are strong on your own if all of you worked together then you might have been able to"
Hale thought that the village chief was absurd for not even trying their best but he quickly learned the reason for why the ogres couldn't get out
"It isn't that we couldn't open the door, the door isn't the problem, the problem is the one guarding it"
"What do you mean by that? What's guarding the door?"
To Hale's question the village chief replied in a dreadful tone
"Although we don't know what it's called in the outside world, our ancestors called it a Wyvern"
Hale quickly sent pale after hearing the name
"It seems the rules are reversed here, the boss battle will be outside the gate"
