Chapter 147 - Chapter 147: Too Much Bragging!

The King of Heroes, Gilgamesh, seethed with fury. His pride, towering and absolute, had been wounded by Lucas's nonchalance. His crimson eyes blazed with contempt, and his voice dropped to a menacing growl.

"Impudent mongrel!" he roared, his tone dripping with disdain. "You dare mock me? I will make you witness the true power of a king!"

With a flick of his wrist, he twisted the key to his Gate of Babylon, and the sky above them cracked open with brilliant red lines. The air trembled with raw magical power as the lines spread like veins, covering the heavens in an ominous lattice.

A weapon emerged from the portal—a long, spiral-shaped blade, ancient and primal. It exuded a destructive aura so intense that the winds screamed, and the earth beneath them trembled.

"This," Gilgamesh declared, his voice echoing like thunder, "is my ultimate Noble Phantasm—Enuma Elish: The Star of Creation That Split Heaven and Earth! The blade that can sunder the world itself!"

His lips curled into a cruel smirk, eyes filled with scorn. "Disobedient mongrels have no right to exist. Perish!"

[Chat Group]

Tohsaka Tokiomi: "It has appeared! The King of Heroes' greatest Noble Phantasm—Enuma Elish. It is said to have the power to split the world!"

Golden Lion Shiki: "Tch. Sounds like one of those overblown threats. This feels like when Whitebeard claimed he could destroy the world. All talk, no proof."

Lucas: "Exactly! Ninety percent of those who boast about 'world-destroying power' are just blowing smoke. Even Whitebeard couldn't destroy the world—just islands. And don't get me started on those so-called 'Ancient Weapons' from your world."

Gold Thief Woonan: "True! The Ancient Weapon Poseidon can supposedly control the Sea Kings, but how's a bunch of oversized sea monsters supposed to destroy the world?"

Howard Stark: "Right? Unless the Sea Kings decide to wipe out all life and then off themselves, 'destroying the world' is a massive stretch. Biosphere collapse, maybe. But planetary destruction? Nah."

Kariya Matou: "Don't let the King of Heroes' arrogance fool you. That blade… its magical output is terrifying."

Irisviel: "Indeed… It feels like the sword is analyzing this world's laws. If Lucas interrupts him now, it could prevent him from reaching full power."

Lucas: "Nah. Let him cook. I want to see his so-called 'world-destroying power' at its peak. After all, how else will he understand what despair truly means?"

Lancelot: "Are you sure about this, Group Leader? That sword is legendary—it can supposedly erase everything."

Lucas: "Relax. Remember when Uchiha Madara bragged that his 'Perfect Susanoo' was unstoppable and could level mountains with a single slash? Yeah, same vibe."

Senju Hashirama: "NANI? Perfect Susanoo can destroy everything in one blow? Seriously?"

Senju Tobirama: "Hah! So that's where all these world-destruction fantasies come from. Madara, how many times have you used your so-called 'unrivaled' Perfect Susanoo and failed to destroy anything remotely close to a world?"

Uchiha Madara: "Tobirama, you insufferable pest—WHEN did I ever say that?"

Lucas: "In the 'original' timeline I saw. You totally boasted about it. You even called it 'the ultimate warrior.'"

Uchiha Madara: "…"

Uchiha Madara: "If you say so… I'll just accept it. But you're twisting my words!"

[Real World]

Gilgamesh raised his Sword of Rapture (Ea) high, its swirling, chaotic edge roaring like a cosmic storm. He sneered down at Lucas, his voice dripping with arrogance.

"What's wrong, mongrel? Have you finally realized the terror of standing before a king?"

But Lucas remained utterly unfazed. He folded his arms, eyes calm, lips curved into a smirk.

"No," Lucas replied lazily, "I'm just waiting for you to finish charging up. Your sword's supposed to 'split the world,' right? Well, show me. Just a friendly tip—youngsters shouldn't brag too hard. Destroying the world's a pretty big goal, y'know. Maybe start smaller."

His smirk widened into a grin. "Here's an idea: try destroying Fuyuki City first. If you can manage that, then maybe we can talk about 'world-destruction.'"

Gilgamesh's face darkened, the veins on his forehead bulging. "You dare mock me?!" he roared, his pride boiling over. "Insolent fool! If not for the restraints of this world, I would shatter even the stars above!"

[Chat Group]

Lucas: "Lol. Blaming 'world restraints'? Yeah, I know—Gaia and Alaya, the planet's and humanity's collective wills. They maintain the balance, prevent excessive destruction, and suppress anything that threatens global extinction. But…"

Lucas's eyes glinted with amusement.

Lucas: "Aren't they part of the world you're trying to destroy? Isn't it only natural that the world would fight back when you threaten it? So let me get this straight—"

"You're only a 'world-destroyer' if the world itself promises not to fight back? Pfft, some world-ending threat you are."

Golden Lion Shiki: "Shihahaha! That's priceless! 'I could destroy the world, if the world doesn't resist.'"

Whitebeard: "Gurararara! What a joke! I could say the same thing—'I could sink the world if the ocean doesn't resist.'"

Senju Tobirama: "World-destruction… but only if the world politely steps aside. How convenient."

Lucas: "Seriously, with logic like that, any Heroic Spirit could kill the King of Heroes—as long as he doesn't fight back."

Gilgamesh's temper snapped. His golden aura flared violently as he swung the Rapture Sword, the air splitting with a cosmic shriek.

"ENOUGH!" he roared. "Enuma Elish—Collapse and Return to the Void!"

The air… shattered. Space twisted. The very fabric of reality unraveled before the Rapture Sword's cataclysmic power. Everything the blade touched dissolved into nothingness, as though the universe itself was being erased from existence.

The earth disintegrated. The sky warped.

[Chat Group]

Irisviel: "That destructive force… it's erasing everything in its path…"

Lancelot: "This… this is the power of a true Noble Phantasm!"

Lucas's eyes flashed. "Nice try."

In an instant, his form transformed—Six Paths Sage Mode.

His robes glowed with divine patterns. Behind him, black orbs—Truth-Seeking Balls—hovered, radiating an aura of absolute disintegration.

The orbs shifted, forming a solid black shield directly in the path of the Rapture Sword's cataclysm.

BOOOM!!!

Two annihilating forces collided—Cosmic Ruin versus Absolute Disintegration.

A vortex of destruction erupted, ripping the heavens and earth asunder. But…

The Truth-Seeking Shield held.

The Rapture Sword's world-ending power smashed into the shield, and then—

It began to unravel.

The deadly spiral of Enuma Elish—consumed, disintegrated, and neutralized by the absolute force of the Truth-Seeking Balls.

Lancelot: "WHAT?!"

Irisviel: "He… blocked the Rapture Sword's power?"

Whitebeard: "Hahahaha! Not so mighty after all, is he?"

Golden Lion Shiki: "Shihahaha! Overhyped! He got his 'world-destroyer' card revoked!"

Gilgamesh's eyes went wide. His arrogance cracked, replaced by stunned disbelief.

"NANI?" he gasped. "What… What Noble Phantasm is that?!"

Lucas twirled his Six Paths Scepter lazily and smirked. "This? It's not a Noble Phantasm. It's called the Truth-Seeking Ball."

His golden eyes glinted coldly. "Like your Rapture Sword, it erases everything it touches—matter, energy, even concepts."

The grin on his face sharpened into something almost sinister.

"The difference? Mine actually lives up to its hype."

[Chat Group]

Senju Hashirama: "Truth-Seeking Balls have that kind of power? I always thought they were just some fancy decorations!"

Senju Tobirama: "Brother… Seriously? Doesn't it look dangerous enough? Why would you think it's just an ornament?"

Senju Hashirama (confidently): "Exactly because it looks so special! Isn't that what ornaments are for? If something looks that impressive, it has to be decoration. Something ugly and rough would be more fitting for destruction!"

Senju Tobirama: "…"

Senju Tobirama: "Brother, your logic is truly… unmatched."

Lucas (chuckling): "Truth-Seeking Balls—formed from the fusion of all seven chakra natures, creating the ultimate power known as Kekkei Mōra. They disintegrate anything they touch into nothingness. Only Six Paths power or Sage (Senjutsu) energy can withstand them."

Uchiha Madara: "So, are you saying… the destructive power of the Rapture Sword is comparable to a Kekkei Mōra technique?"

Lucas: "Possibly. But it's hard to say. Kekkei Tota, like Dust Release (Jinton), disassemble matter into molecules. The Rapture Sword seems more conceptual—tearing apart the fabric of space itself. Different mechanics, but similar devastation."

Gengetsu Hōzuki: "Hahaha! Dust Release? If it's on that level, then yeah, it could definitely 'destroy the world.' Turning everything into molecules is no joke!"

Golden Lion Shiki: "Shihahaha! I get your point, but that's only a big deal for Ninja World. In the Pirate World, our bodies can tank cannonballs and earthquakes for breakfast. Ninja World's got glass-jawed fighters—one solid punch from Whitebeard, and half your army's gone!"

Sword God Ryuma: "Didn't Uchiha Madara die from a stab to the chest? And that was from Senju Hashirama—with an ordinary blade. Pretty sure a random guy with a spear could've done the same."

Pirate King Roger: "So any random ninja can walk around claiming they can kill the great 'Shura of the Shinobi World' with a kitchen knife? Hah! World-destroying power, my ass!"

Howard Stark: "It's not that the world is full of lies. It's just… full of bragging rights. Everyone hypes up their power until they get knocked down by some random dude with a stick."

Senju Hashirama (curiously): "Are there legends like that in the Ninja World too?"

Lucas: "Of course! Ever heard the one about the Sage of Six Paths creating the entire world with a divine weapon called the Amenonuhoko (Heavenly Swamp Spear)?"

Senju Hashirama: "Seriously?!"

Lucas: "Yeah, total nonsense. The sword was real—I'm holding it right now, actually. But here's the truth—The world existed before the Sage of Six Paths. So how could his sword have 'created' it?"

[Real World – Battlefield]

With a casual motion, Lucas summoned a pitch-black Truth-Seeking Ball into his palm. It twisted and reshaped, elongating into a strange spear-like weapon with a spiraling, double-helix blade. Its surface rippled like liquid darkness, and it pulsed with destructive power.

Gilgamesh's eyes narrowed, his smirk faltering. "What... is that weapon?"

Lucas: "Oh, this? It's called the Amenonuhoko—The Heavenly Swamp Spear." His voice dripped with amusement. "In another world, they claim it was a divine artifact used by immortals to create the world. But just like your Rapture Sword… its legend is nothing but hot air."

Gilgamesh's eyes flashed with fury. "Mongrel!"

Lucas twirled the black spear lazily, its edge slicing the air with a sound like a whispering void. "Well then, King of Heroes," he said, his voice light but laced with an edge, "Shall I send you back to the Throne of Heroes?" His golden eyes glinted. "I'll even let you choose—Do you want to close your eyes first, or face it head-on?"

Gilgamesh's nostrils flared, and his pride flamed into rage. "Tch! Fool! The King does not beg for mercy—he commands victory!"

With a bellow, he swung the Rapture Sword once more, its cosmic spiral roaring toward Lucas. "Enuma Elish—The End of All Creation!"

Lucas shook his head, his expression almost pitying. "Tsk. You're really addicted to this 'King' act, huh? Time for your 'Wang Addiction' to get treated."

In a flash, Lucas swept the Amenonuhoko sideways—

CLANG!!!

The Rapture Sword flew from Gilgamesh's hand, spinning through the air before embedding itself in the ground far away.

The next instant—

BOOOOOM!!!

The spear's spiraling edge slammed into Gilgamesh's chest. His armor shattered on impact, and his body crumpled, folding into a shockwave that sent him flying. He hit the earth with a thunderous crash, cracks spiderwebbing outward from the impact point.

Golden motes of light began rising from his wounded body—his spirit core unraveling.

Gilgamesh's crimson eyes, once burning with arrogance, dulled in disbelief. "H-How…" he rasped, his voice barely a whisper.

Lucas, his spear resting on his shoulder, gazed down at him with a half-smile. "Your time's up, King. The Throne of Heroes is waiting."

Lucas landed softly beside the defeated Heroic Spirit. With a flick of his wrist, he dismissed the Amenonuhoko, the weapon dissolving back into a Truth-Seeking Ball.

As Gilgamesh's form flickered, his body turning into shimmering spirit particles, Lucas offered a final word:

"Next time, King… brag less."

With one last defiant glare, Gilgamesh vanished—his spirit returning to the Throne of Heroes.

As the golden particles faded, another figure stepped calmly into view—Kotomine Kirei.

His eyes glinted with eerie amusement. "You dispatched him faster than I expected." His voice was smooth, unshaken. "But no, I am not afraid. Why would I run?"

Lucas raised a brow. "Not even a little rattled after your ally got wiped?"

Kirei's lips curled into a twisted smile. "Afraid? No. Pleased, actually. Watching my ally fall brings me... a peculiar joy."

Lucas sighed, exasperated. "Man… you really get worse."

Then, as if struck by a thought, Lucas's lips curved into a smirk. "By the way, Kirei… Haven't you felt the urge to 'visit' Emiya Kiritsugu lately? I figured he'd be exactly your type."

[Chat Group Erupts]

Irisviel: "Group Leader! What… do you mean by that?"

Lucas: "Exactly what you're thinking. Haven't you ever wondered why Kirei seems so fixated on your husband? That intense interest he shows—it's almost like... love."

Irisviel: "…"

Irisviel: "You know, sometimes your insight is... too much."

Howard Stark: "HOLD UP! Another love triangle?!"

Lucas: "No, no. Not this time. More like... obsession."

Kotomine Kirei chuckled darkly, his eyes glinting. "It's true—I find Emiya Kiritsugu fascinating. But not for any... sentimental reason."

His voice lowered, dripping with twisted delight. "He and I... are opposites. He chases what is good and just, while I am drawn to what is hated and despised. Watching him struggle, watching his ideals collapse… it brings me a... profound joy."

A cold smile crept across his lips. "But now… he's nothing. A broken man, his beliefs shattered. There's no joy in watching a man who has already lost everything."
