In a large clearing in the forests of South Panama, the dark elves formed a large canopy protectively around their surroundings, built from flora that came from West Genora. It served as a powerful organic shield of wood and leaves that powerfully held off hordes of the Beast Excursion that sought to wipe them out from the continent.

The Beast Excursion had simply been instructed to annihilate or exorcise all those who weren't native to the continent. It had not been given any sophisticated instruction to evaluate whether or not a true world convoy came in peace or not, and simply followed the order blindly.
It wasn't even possible to give them highly sophisticated instructions in the first place; they were beasts and monsters for a reason. He couldn't treat them like a highly trained commando force capable of executing complex missions and operations.
