Whether it was before Russell regained the memories of his past lives or after, he was always a day-to-day person. Or rather, his diligent studying before was all for the sake of enjoying life one day in the future. Besides that, what other people did or how the world would turn out later had nothing to do with him—unless he was faced with a tragedy right before his eyes, forcing him to intervene. What did matters decades or centuries later have to do with him?
But now, here he sat with his companions, preparing to use his own flesh and blood to confront a Demon King capable of devouring the world.
