After everything that happened, Elayne, Mark, and Rita finally had some time to talk and rest from the intense battle.
"That crucified guy sure acted tough but still got his shit beaten out of him," laughed Rita. "He was weaker than Merlinus, wasn't he?"
"Definitely weaker, he didn't have as many powers and hidden trump cards…" Mark said. "If that's already one of the five fingers of the Black Hand, then the other four are going to be a joke. Unless he was the weakest and the rest are the true challenge, like that type of cliché?"
"Probably…" Elayne said. "We shouldn't lower our guards even when we reach the island. If they somehow got here already, who knows if they're there as well."
"W-Wait, what?! So we have to look out for possible enemies even there? I just wanted to chillax for a second!" Rita complained.
"Rita! I already told you before that this wouldn't be an easy trip and you still decided to come," Elayne said. "So please stop complaining."
