The plane war has come to an end, but the era of warfare is only just beginning.
Or to put it another way, the so-called peaceful years never existed; it has always been a transition from one era of war to another.
World War I, World War II, border conflicts under superpowered threats, urban superpower crises, exploratory wars in exotic realms, and most recently, the plane war.
An intrinsic part of life is death, and the opposing side of living is war. As long as life harbors desires, battles and wars are unlikely to ever truly cease.
Now, the Eastern Country as a "parent" has realized it no longer has the capability to protect everyone amidst the chaotic multiverse. The only option is to begin handing out weapons to everyone, teaching them to use arms to defend themselves.
