"Susu, you are now human, and you can't transform into this form when you're out in the world," Bai Ze's mother said.
"So what should I do? Little brother and I are still falling, will we crash to our deaths? If we die, will we revert to our original forms? No, that's not right, if I'm gone, my human dad and mom will be so heartbroken."
Susu wasn't afraid of dying, but she feared the grief it would bring her human parents, her brothers, and the many others who loved her.
"Don't be afraid, Susu; you will be alright, you both won't die," Bai Ze's father said with absolute certainty in his voice.
"Will someone come to save us?" Susu asked.
"There's no need for someone to rush to your rescue, some things are predestined and don't require Susu's darling to worry," Bai Ze's father gave a profound and enigmatic response.
"Huh?" Susu didn't quite understand.
What Bai Ze's father said was a bit perplexing.
