Leo reluctantly parted with Slania shortly after they arrived back at Demonbane Ranch as Krynienne quickly ushered him and Lucky Lightfoot toward the patrol cycle training track after reminding Slania that she had chores waiting and that she would at best be a distraction for Leo if not Lucky as well.
Even from a distance, the training track looked imposing and far more difficult than the one Leo remembered having to clear to get his patrol cycle license. It looked like his and Lucky's reward was to be punished with even more training that pushed them to the limits.
"Alright boys time to have a little fun with patrol cycles in the name of training. To make it even more fun how about we make it a race between the two of you? The winner gets a signed copy of the photo of yours truly that was taken for next year's Cycle Girls calendar."
