Ivan
I know I'm dreaming, but it feels so real that I question whether the real world is the dream.
"If we could stay here forever, would you be mad?" Nefra threw her leg over my hip, her cheek resting on my arm. "It's pretty here."
"If you want to stay, that's what we'll do," I love this. It's quiet, and no one knows where we are. I don't need to pretend to know what I'm doing, and I'm with my favorite person in the world. What else did I need? "I like having you to myself."
"Everyone will miss us. Don't you think?"
"Probably," I wouldn't be surprised if my uncle didn't have a squad looking for us. We hadn't been gone for that long, but everyone was paranoid that we'd disappear forever. Sometimes, it was tempting. "I don't actually care."
"That's mean," giggling, Nefra tried to get up, but I stopped her. I rolled onto my back and brought her with me so she was lying on top of me. I needed to have her as close as possible, secretly afraid she'd disappear. "Everyone loves you."
