Gu Joy glanced at Zhou Yanlin, and felt there was something odd about him. He seemed preoccupied with something.
"Are you okay?" Gu Joy asked.
"No, let's go. We haven't had a meal together in a long time." Zhou Yanlin sounded a bit annoyed, having been really busy lately.
And there was also some distance between their departments, so it wasn't easy coming over.
Now that they had finally caught the chance, it couldn't just go to waste.
The two headed to the school cafeteria, and Zhou Yanlin had Gu Joy sit down while he went to get the food, knowing her taste.
Soon, he came over with two sets of utensils.
When he placed the utensils in front of her, Gu Joy was startled, "Oh my, that's a lot of food."
"You got too much. I can't finish all this." Gu Joy's stomach couldn't hold so much food.
It was downright frightening.
"No worries, just eat as much as you can. I'll eat the rest," Zhou Yanlin reassured her.
