Knocking.
Zhou Yun glanced at the peephole, confirmed who it was, and opened the door.
Song Chi walked in.
The first thing he asked upon entering was, "What does she want with you?"
Zhou Yun thought about the text message Luo Zhiqiu had sent her.
Should she tell Song Chi?
Should she tell Song Chi the truth?
A surprise?
Zhou Yun gestured for Song Chi to take a seat.
"She asked me if I'm interested in joining Zuo Jing." Zhou Yun certainly wasn't naive enough to be fooled by Luo Zhiqiu.
If she signed with Zuo Jing behind Song Chi's back, what she would bring to him would probably be a shock rather than a surprise.
Song Chi scoffed and said, "She really stops at nothing, even setting her sights on you now."
Zhou Yun puzzled, asking, "What do you mean?"
"She's negotiating a new contract with me, and the situation isn't very clear, she's trying everything she can to keep me."
"What does that have to do with me?"
