The warmth disappeared, replaced by a damp, heavy air. As my eyes adjusted, I realized I was inside a massive cage. The walls were dark and grimy, but flowers bloomed brightly in every corner, stubbornly standing out against the gloom.
In the distance, a round table with thirteen empty seats came into view.
