However, spiritual fatigue cannot be resolved by a few hours of sleep. Adding the physical and mental burdens from transforming into a deity, Shard, who fell into slumber, didn't even know how he returned to his bedroom.
When he confusedly awoke in his own bed, he stared blankly at the familiar ceiling, then realized he had surely missed more than one cat-feeding time:
