Standing alone in a dark void, he hears it clearly, a voice echoing loudly from the distance, calling out a name. It sounds vaguely familiar, yet it isn't his.
Still, the speaker doesn't stop. The voice grows louder and louder, pressing into his mind, forcing him to stir in the darkness.
"My Lord!... My Lord!... My Lord!... Toby!!!" (Charming yells, finally managing to wake the young dreamer from his state of unconsciousness, happy to see him open his eyes)
Toby Robinson: (Groans) My head... What happened? (Toby asks, weakly sitting up from the ground while rubbing his aching head)
Prince Charming: You did it, My Lord! You actually defeated the mighty Queen of the ants! It was glorious! (Charming tells him happily)
Toby Robinson: Seriously, why don't I remember? Wait a minute, how are you guys even out here, aren't you supposed to be in my hold or something? (Toby asks in confusion, not remembering certain things that happened in the battle)
Prince Charming: You freed us, My Lord. We held off the ants upon your request, until you used a new ability to take her down. Once again I must say, that it was Glorious! (Charming explains, moving aside to show Browny and Noble roaming about a short distance away)
Toby Robinson: Wait does that mean Clockwork is free too?! (Toby asks in panic, nervously looking around for the fearsome dragon)
Prince Charming: The dragon is not free, and thank goodness for that. But do you really not remember releasing us? (Charming asks, starting to get worried)
Toby Robinson: Honestly, Charming. I'm just happy to be alive right now. I thought I was going to die so many times in that fight, it was terrifying. The Butter Ant Queen was crazy strong. (Toby tells him, standing on his feet and clutching at his bleeding stomach)
Prince Charming: You're still hurt, maybe you should...
Toby Robinson: I know... Heal. (Toby tells him before activating his healing)
[-75 Dream Points]
[Dream Bank: 5362 Dream Points]
[100/100HP]
Toby Robinson: Aah, much better. (Toby said in relief, his injuries now fully healed)
Prince Charming: That never ceases to amaze me, My Lord. But, speaking of the ant queen, there's something you should know about her... She's here. (Charming tells him, now staring at the large figure approaching Toby from behind)
The young dreamer turns back quickly, shocked to see the Butter Ant Queen standing behind him, with some of her soldiers gathered around her.
Toby jumps back instantly, dream energy swirling around his hand, quickly manifesting the dream sword within it. The young dreamer stares at the weapon in shock, not knowing how he summoned it without speaking, but not thinking about that for long, because he had bigger things to worry about right now.
Toby Robinson: What the heck is she doing here? How is she still alive? (Toby thought in panic, now holding the dream sword with both hands, ready to fight for his life against this enemy)
Prince Charming: Be calm, My Lord. She is not our enemy, at least not anymore. (Charming explains to him, his hand resting on his shoulder)
Toby Robinson: What do you mean? (Toby asks, very much confused by all of this)
Prince Charming: She came back here a while ago, and did not try to attack any of us, even though you were completely defenseless. I think she wants something. (Charming explains to him)
Toby Robinson: Then why don't you ask her, find out what she wants. (Toby tells him, the dream sword vanishing from his hands in his moment of clarity)
Prince Charming: I will do my best. (Charming replied, approaching the Ant Queen and beginning to converse her)
Charming and the Queen go on a strange back and forth, with Charming speaking in english, and the ant queen speaking in ant.
Toby Robinson: My sword's gone, that doesn't normally happen unless it's destroyed or left alone for too long. I can't normally summon it at will either, which means something strange is happening with my dream powers... And I think I like it. (Toby thought with a smile, clenching his empty fist)... I wonder what the Butter Ant Queen wants from me, or what she wants in general. Its so cool that Charming can communicate with any kind of dream being, but it also makes me feel bad. These beings, they all have thoughts and emotions, and still I'm attacking them without any reason other than, I want to get stronger. Am I the villain of this story, should I stop tormenting these creatures? (Toby is thinking about this as Browny approaches, and the young dreamer gently rubs the dream bear's soft fur)... If the Queen wants me to leave, I'll just leave. I might need to seriously rethink my adventures, maybe I can go after only the evil dream beings. Yeah, that sounds much better of my conscience. (Toby thought to himself, loving this new idea he's making up on the fly)
Charming seems to have ended his conversation with the Butter Ant Queen, and he walks back to the young dreamer, about to relay information back to him.
Prince Charming: It seems like the Queen of the ants... wants to... (Charming said nervously, hesitant to tell Toby what Ant Queen actually wants from him)
Toby Robinson: Wants to what?! Just tell me! (Toby demanded to know)
Prince Charming: She wants to marry you, My Lord. Apparently that's all she wants. (Charming finally tells him)
Toby Robinson: Huh? Wait the heck are you talking about?! (Toby asked in shock and confusion)
