It was at night time, Levy was at his study room after being eased by her favourite gem, his mind was now clear to start working after a session of love making since noon. But still the matter of marrying Audrey kept ringing in his head, and as if matter of fact ..... it was true that they would benefit a lot form the famous warrior Princess. But then one thing .... he loves and only dreams of making Acine his Queen, he can never imagine marrying someone that he considers a little sister, I mean are the minister crazy or what? je shook his head, he almost forgot that General Hillary also his tutor's presence and behind him stood his right hand man and a personal Knight Fene.
The two had been standing there I silence since almost an hour ago, his gaze zoomed in Fene who had a blank and dark face as always and the Hillary, he noticed that the General had a weird look like he wanted to say something but he stood quietly, he let out a deep sigh knowing exactly what the Oldman was going to say.
"You want to say something General?" he said folding the paper that he just finished to write down and kept in the envelope, "Eeh .... yes sire.... May I?" he muttered glad the the King could read his mind and gave him and opportunity,"Fene ... deliver this to Minister Gordon " he handed him "Yes sire" Fene took the envelope and walked out of the room giving them the space they needed.
"Go ahead General " he uttered in a soft tone, he respects this man and his decisions a lot because he was always sensible. "I am sure you already know what I'm about to say sire" he paused taking in his reaction 'Yeah and fudge it!' he thought within him.
"Princess Audrey of Dillonia is a strong partner you'll ever get sire, a rare one ... I would kindly recommend for you to accept the marriage before some other kingdoms take the opportunity form our hands" he said firmly with determination oozing around his builded body regardless of his age, his long hairs tied into a low tail making him look dashing.
Levyndrion sighed for nth time, he was the only man that he wished would think otherwise about the matter but then here he was ..... supporting it. What shattered his hope even more was how much confident he was while he was talking, he made it sound like if he doesn't rush to get Audrey the he would suffer a big loss. "But then I only sees her as a little sister and not like how I see Acine General " he said , two lines forming on his forehead, he moved forward to where the King was sitting and pressed his shoulder like a father and not a General, "Tell me .... have I ever made you do something that brought you down?" he asked seriously, Levy shook his head denying it "Then trust me in this one too, I am just giving a suggestion for your future, and your future is Ximpton's future, and Princess of Dillonia .... she is the rightful Queen to sit beside you and to help you rule Ximpton "
Levy raised his face to meet with his, if only this man was his father then he would shout for the whole world to hear how much lucky he was to be his blood. General's words were sinking in his head and every word was heavily true of he mentioned it , he knew that this was the best deal for his Kingdom its just that his heart belongs to someone else, he averted his gaze "I fear ..... I fear that I will only hurt her since I love someone else " he said his truth and everyone was aware if it that he loves Acine, because he never hide jis feelings for her.
"Don't... love marriage is the last and rare thing to happen I'm the Royal families, even the late King and Queen fell in love after getting to know each other, I believe you and Princess Audrey would progress tooling everybody else, only time will tell, and I have pure faith in you that you won't hurt her intentionally " he pressed his shoulder even more to assure him, Levyndrion bit his lower lip and stayed in silence for a second "If is is for my Kingdom then I Levyndrion the King of Ximpton would marry Princess of Dillonia .... but then as of matter of heart .... I doubt it .... she can never own it even after marrying her, the only love that I feel for her is that of brotherly love, I can't give her more" he said with a firm tone, he won't promise to love her. General Hillary retracted his hand and bowed at him "I understand .... you've made a wise decision sire, I shall take my lea e and prepare to send the letter to Dillonia " he saw no other reason to to waste time , he could only think about the royal marriage now, he was determined to convince him and now he could only thank his stars for he already accepted.
"I could just ask the buttler to do that General don't worry " he muttered with concern, due to his respect for the man letting him to send a letter wasn't sitting right with him, "No sire ... I would personally write the letter and send it over, I beg your pardon sire" he muttered with a grin , Levy could only shook his head , the man was acting like he was marrying off his eldest son "If you insist" he uttered.
General Hillary bowed and left hot on his tail leaving Levyndrion going crazy "Fudge!!" he cursed, he has yet to answer to Acine about this, but then as a King.... he knows better not to only think about his personal feelings, maybe he was wrong for a while denying the marriage whe its for his people. Today he had to make a very hard decision in a matter of a second, that was his fate as a King.
He would marry her and make her the Queen of Ximpton but the Acine .... she would always remain to be the Queen of his heart.
General Hillary met with Fene .... the King's right hand man when he was exiting the King's quarters, Fene gave him a formal bow and was about to walk past him "You! you should visit home sometimes you rascal! ... your mother misses you" he said with concerned look "Yes sire .... then....I shall take my leave" he gave a final bow and walked away not even sparing a glance at him."That brat!" General Hillary watched him as he dissappear in the darkness of the night with clenched heart, he sighed and left, he has some more important matter to take care of.
At Dillonia.....
"Good morning papa and mama" said Audrey kissing her parent's cheeks before sitting down, the servants started to serve her breakfast as she hummed. "My dear ... you seem so happy today " uttered King Jeremy sipping his tea. "I've noticed too Rey ... anything special?" supported her mother, Queen Ella then she personally sliced the meat and placed it on her daughter's plate like she always do, she was a pampered girl, treasured like some sort of jade by her parents. Audrey raised the fork to her mouth taking her time to chew and swallow it, she then looked at them "Is it obvious?" her parents nodded in unison... "Well I guess I am still a bad liar ..... I am extremely happy for Gwen and Breth, the two looked so lovely yesterday.... so adorable " she said with a wide smile , she was obviously happy for them. "Oh" is all King Jeremy could utter .
"We must marry you off soon so we get rid of the stubborn girl in you then" said Queen Ella teasingly "Mama!" she pouted but a second later her eyes sparkled "Talking about marriage....do you two wanna know what happens after the wedding? I was the one to catch the bride's bouquet and everyone kept saying I'll be getting married soon too ...." she paused shooking her head "People can be funny sometimes with these assumptions " she continued to eat gracefully without a care if her parents.
Unbeknownst to her, her parents gave each other knowing looks as if they could translate her words specifically for an upcoming surprise. "You never know ... it might be true" said King Jeremy coughing, "Absolutely darling!" joined her mother, she placed down her fork and got up she went to stand around her parent's back, who were sitting side by side , she leaned down in between them and wrapped her hands around them as if they were in a group hug, her parents could only look at her.
"Nope! not so soon mama and papa .... I wanna get pampered some more, I wanna receive your warm hugs and kisses, most importantly..... I want to get even more stubborn and defended by papa and scolded by mama" her words were like of a 10 years old girl, her parents laughed, she kissed their cheeks and rushed out "Thank you for breakfast! see you!" they heard her yelling as she exited the door. "What just happened? that girl is do impossible!" said Queen Ella not able to stop laughing , "She doesn't want to get married yet" said King Jeremy with a change of look, his smiling face was taken over by his serious and concerned look. "But she will anyway .... it's the only way honey " sighed Queen Ella and side hugged her husband to encourage him. They have a very serious matter in their hands at the moment and only God knows if it would work out or not.
