Harry feels nervous and suppressed before Amon, even though Amon is doing nothing but shaking his hand with a smile that looks very genuine.
He also feels weak and intimidated by having his hand entirely engulfed by Amon's big hand.
Just looking at his huge stature makes him cower in fear. His friend Tom is not doing any better, either.
Though he is not as intimidated as Harry because he is not directly before Amon like Harry, he, too, can feel the domineering pressure coming from Amon.
He couldn't help but feel small, weak, and unworthy as a man to stand before someone like Amon.
"And who is this?" And to add to his nightmare, Amon brings his attention to Tom,
Tom straightens up and puffs his chest a little now that Amon has his attention on him.
Harry looks at Tom and back at Amon. The stark difference between them is night and day.
"This is Tom, my best friend," Harry says.
"Oh, nice to meet you, Tom," Amon says and extends his hand towards Tom.
