All this time I thought it was a paper weight; but boy was I wrong ....
All these years I have been using this presumed paper weight on my study desk. I have played with it when I was bored while doing assignment, spinned it on my desk when I had to think answers for some serious problem in physics or in my life, thrown and hit my sister many times when I was angry or simply annoyed at her after which she would throw it back to hit me and I'll catch it much to her frustration after which she would go old school and beat me up with her hands to which I'll retaliate as much as I can because she knew by experience that throwing things on me wouldn't work.
I am younger than her by 2 years you know but by the end of our fight when mom intervenes we would both have small bruises. Mom would scold both of us for behaving like a 8 year old and then proceed to apply medicine on both our bruises. I would tell she hit me first and she would complain about me throwing the paper weight and before we start bickering again mom would silence us both by giving us a death glare. My sister would then go to her room without saying anything; frustration and annoyance evident on her face for not being able to hit me with the cube no matter how she throws it. The look on her face would made my day. You need another fifty thousand tries sister before you hope to surprise me with your throwing much less hitting me.
Hahaha I have practiced catching and throwing this thing for God knows how many times probably a million or so; well on second thought not a million may be but a few hundred thousand times for sure ....
But I have stopped throwing this cubical paper weight on her after one specific incident a few years back that saddens me till this day whenever I think about it.
I was mad after returning from school that day because Mr. Anderson our science teacher insulted me in front of the whole class for asking a question that was stupid from his point of view .... How is asking if somehow Earth rotates backwards will the time flow in reverse is a stupid question for a young middle schooler's mind ??
I mean we were starting to study light, sound, motion, time, magnetic fields, gravity and all those stuff and how it affects us in those classes and I asked it simply out of curiosity.
I'm sure you will also be baffled if the Sun that was setting on the west suddenly starts rising and going towards east..... Would you go back to the same day that you already lived? would the clocks start moving backward? would the water flow in reverse? would you start getting younger? if not then what will happen..... Those are some fascinating questions right but Mr. Anderson thought other wise saying I'm an idiot for asking things like that and no wonder my scores on his subject were starting to decline and how my overall performance is decreasing after every test. I admit
