' Why is it flickering again, ' Josie thought, which is weird, as Maya, Jade, and Josie's compass that I gave them were last in my casket. " Josie, you alright, " Jade asked, as she kissed Josie on the lips. "*Mwah* yeah, but the compass has been going off like crazy ever since the last two weeks, " Josie answered, as Jade looked at them. ' Someone has to be pressing the gems on the other compasses, but that's impossible, right, ' Jade thought, as she had an idea.
Right now, Jade, Josie, Maya, MG, Hope, Lizzie, and Rafael are at a private cemetery where my grave is. " Jade, Maya, and Josie, are you sure this is okay, " Rafael asked, as they are digging up where my grave is. " Yeah, Jayden's adoptive mother and biological mother owns this place, so we can just fix it up when we're done, " Maya answered, as they didn't know that. " What if the compasses are still in the grave, what does that mean, " Hope questioned, as they got all of the dirt out of the way. " Well if they're still in the grave, that means the compasses are broken now, " Josie answered, as Jade opened my casket, which made all of them gasp. " Jayden's body and the compasses should be in the casket unless, " Maya said, as they all had two thoughts. " One, someone took his body and is doing some experiment with it, most likely Hera, Jayden's partner when he was a hunter, " Jade said, as Josie wished that wasn't true. " And second, most unlikely, Jayden's still alive, and he took the compasses to contact us, " Josie finished, which seemed to make more sense.
The next day, all of them along with Alaric are going to Newberry, South Carolina. Why? Because that's where the compass points to. " What do we do if we find Jayden, " Rafael asked, as Jade sighed. " We need to know whether he is still alive or came back, as he died in me and Jade's arms, " Josie answered, as they are two hours away. " What if we find Jayden and his humanity is off, if he's still a werewolf-vampire hybrid, " Maya questioned, as Jade shivered when she remembered no humanity-me. " If his humanity is off, well I hope we can stop him before he kills us, as he was scary with no humanity, " Jade answered, as they wanted to know what no humanity-me was like. " How scary, as he didn't have his humanity on when we first met, " Josie asked, as Jade looked at them. " Do you have some place we can talk in private, " the bartender asked, as Jade looked at her. ' I should still have that apartment here, ' Jade thought as she nodded. " Jayden's humanity is most likely off, so be on guard, " Jade said, as they reached the alleyway to see me feasting on the vampire. " Jayden, that's you, right, " Jade asked, as Maya returned with them. Alaric was aiming his crossbow at me, as they were a couple feet away from me. I let go of the dead vampire, and stood up, as my true face was showing. My mouth is covered in vampire blood, so are my arms, and clothes.
