A woman took a deep sniff of the air.
"I smell all 3 of them there. Send more of your people there. The girl is no doubt within those rooms."
Her words had sent the earlier assassins there, but they had seen two die in when something glowed on top of that roof, and then a bright ball of fire had killed the third. No one knew what happened to the others, but the roof was dangerous.
So, most entered the rooms below.
6 broke in through the windows. 2 walked in through the wall. 3 went inside through the door. And 2 simply teleported in.
7 remained outside to aid if needed, and to stop more from going in.
"They're here!" one man shouted when he heard the sound of someone approaching, but his voice immediately vanished as soon as it start.
Matthew and Shara turned toward the sound, only to realize that they could hear nothing else at all. Everything had grown far too quiet. Eerily so.
