Faith is something unique to intelligent beings, but within a plane, there are not only intelligent beings. The far greater number of inhabitants are various animals and plants. They are also forms of life, and they similarly possess the power of intent.
However, this power cannot be manifested and cannot form tangible entities like Divine Totem Valiant Spirits. In the end, this power accumulates within the plane, converging into a unique force specific to that plane.
In any plane that is filled with abundant life, this force naturally gathers. If a consciousness suddenly emerges from it, that would be the Plane Consciousness, or also called the Spirit of the Earth.
Of course, in a plane like the Sea of Omniscience, where its surface is entirely covered by water, it could also give birth to a Plane Consciousness. In such an environment, calling it the Spirit of the Earth does not seem appropriate, so the general term Plane Consciousness is used instead.
