"Ning Zhi. This is village A. Do you mind telling us where you are from, lass?" She asked as gently as possible.
"I…I..I am from the Starfall Showcase Entertainment House." Yi Mei hesitatingly spoke. She didn't want to share that she had already been expelled from there. But this was the only identity she was proud of. She really didn't want to mention how she was a failed lab hybrid, who had no place in society if not for being taken in by the top entertainment house.
"Entertainment house? Starfall showcase? " Ning Zhi frowned. The terms were unknown to her. She seemed to have heard the "Entertainment" term somewhere in the distant past, but together they didn't make much sense to her.
Yi Mei slightly parted her lips. She was taken aback. How could anyone not know about the Starfall showcase entertainment house? Or….by some miracle she ended up at a place far far away from the kingdom itself? Was it one of the neighbouring kingdoms connected to that cave by tunnel?
