"Mom, why didn't you tell me you were coming? I thought you were going to stay at a hotel today."
Mo Xiyan faintly sensed that something was amiss and placed his keys on the shoe cabinet by the door as he took off his coat.
He slipped into his slippers and walked inside.
Reaching the sofa, his tall frame sank into it as he reached out to drape his arm over Mrs. Mo's shoulder.
Just as he stretched out his hand, Mrs. Mo swatted it away.
"Kneel down!"

Mo Xiyan's gaze dimmed, and he was stunned for a few seconds.
He respectfully stood up from the sofa and knelt before Mrs. Mo, facing her angry countenance.
"Mom, what happened that's made you so furious? You should be careful; it's bad for your health."
