Just after the Long family left the detached manor where the two beasts were staying, Long Kian among the three was dumbfounded. Who would have expected that those beasts he thought were just beasts, are capable of speaking in their language. This is different from talking directly through minds, it was verbally done. The only one capable of such a thing is the beast king.
Long Kian heard from his father that the two beasts are capable of speaking through words. Of course, he doesn't believe it. Those words are seemingly ridiculous in his eyes. That's why he couldn't believe it when he heard and saw that small, black lion cub opening its mouth and speaking. It's as shocking as hearing your dog speak your language complaining that dog food is not delicious.
"Dad, did those beasts just speak human language? Is that truly possible?" Questioned Long Kian as if questioning his life.
