James raised his eyebrows, looking at Kyle who folded his arms with a calm face. His hand calmly touches the surface of the table, freezing it entirely into a frozen solid cube under the gazes of X force members.
" Yes. To prevent that from happening in the future, I was sent here to kill him. Obviously, I have misjudged you would be here."
Cable spoke with honesty, raising his hand to show his gesture of surrender. He wasn't here to fight with X force members and surely he wouldn't be able to defeat them by himself.
" Killing isn't the answer, child. If you think you have justification, be my guest. I wouldn't mind sending another villain to raft."
Kyle didn't show any kindness to Cable despite him showing the evidence. He was a hero and a guardian of this planet, he wasn't letting anyone kill a human before his eyes included heroes and superhumans.
" Alright, I got it. I promise to not kill him but you have to guarantee he wouldn't do the massacre."
Before Kyle could answer him, Deadpool stood before him. He then hit the table in a menacing way, but that didn't end well because he both shattered his wrist and the table.
" Moterfucking sweet Jesus. Ouch, that hurts. OK, listen to me, douchebag. I don't believe in your arse. Look at you, a big meanie with who knows how many guns."
Cable sighed with a helpless face, biting his tongue to lash this guy out. Among the mutants, he was probably the worst one in existence and he was standing before him, babbling with nonsense.
" Wade, stop!"
Colossus grabbed him by his head, and put him on his chair while nodding at Kyle. Kyle nodded back with gratitude, resuming the conversation with a calm face.
" Alright. You said about wastelands, what happened in the future?"
He was curious about the future where everyone had died, including him and his family who were basically demigods. Furthermore, there were gods like Thor and others, so it was hard to imagine that would happen.
" I can't say about the future but I can tell you that the destruction started after the fall of mutants and heroes. Eden was among to be destroyed by the villains, scattering hope into dust.
To live some turned into bad while some escaped. Obviously, there were individuals who fought to restore order but in the end, it was futile. The world had died with your father in the future."
X force members took a deep breath, trying to maintain their stability but they couldn't do that. They couldn't believe people like Arthur, Thor, and other heroes would die in the future.
" Alright, I understand. I won't ask about it. So, tell me what should we do to prevent that child from turning bad?"
Kyle said lightly, closing his eyes to ponder what he should do with this information. He understood that Eden wasn't indestructible but it wasn't easy to destroy which meant villains must have used some sort of superweapons like they had to deal with his father.
" We have to stop him from killing the orphan headmaster."
James didn't wait for him to finish as he typed the information of Russel on his device, showing the institute that housed prisoners and mutants.
" We have heard many of such institutions but never saw one until now."
Colossus said with a complicated expression, not hiding his discomfort about the orphanage. He heard Essex was a corporation that supported mutants but he was dead wrong.
" Investigate the company. Maybe we will have another A.I.M situation."
Kyle narrowed his eyes, sniffing something was amiss in this parade. He was preparing to aim the gun's barrel toward their heads, guessing they had something to do with William Stryker and the government.
Although the government was working fine right now, there were individuals who were testing on mutants. The power of X genes and a new generation of Sentinels were much more profitable to the leaders of the world.
