Jay wiped the sweat and blood from his face, then spat on the floor. His glare said everything.
The goon's grin faded into a scowl. "Alright then. Let's see how tough you really are."
He stepped forward, his hulking six-foot-six build casting an intimidating shadow over Jay.
Despite the massive size difference, he knew that if he played his cards right, he could still win.
Jay took a deep breath, focusing on the fight ahead. The size difference was massive, but he had the skill to handle it.
The scar-faced goon charged. Jay moved fast, slipping to the side and striking the ribs. The hit landed, but the man recovered quickly and threw a heavy punch.
Jay ducked and kicked at his leg, forcing him to stumble. Another punch came, closer this time. Jay stepped in and landed a few sharp hits to the torso.
The goon growled and swung wildly. Jay dodged and drove an elbow into his gut. The man wheezed but grabbed Jay by the arm and slammed him hard to the ground.
Jay winced but rolled back up. He threw a few quick kicks, one landing clean on the side of the head. The giant stumbled, but didn't fall.
Jay pressed in, landing strike after strike. The man slowed with each blow. With one final burst, Jay jumped and spun, landing a solid kick to the jaw.
The goon's head snapped back as he hit the ground, dazed, but still conscious.
Breathing heavily, Jay stood over the fallen giant, his body aching. The scar-faced goon tried to rise, but his movements were slow. In one last desperate lunge, he charged again.
Jay was ready. He sidestepped and struck the side of the neck, and the man dropped instantly, unconscious.
Jay stepped back, chest heaving. Despite the size gap, he had taken down someone built like a heavyweight. The remaining goons froze, shaken by the sight.
His friends stood at a distance, wide-eyed. They knew Jay was abnormally strong and talented for his age, but they never expected such a result. None of them had expected him to beat someone that massive on his own.
But the pause didn't last. The goons exchanged looks, and rushed in.
Jay didn't hold back. Although he was tired and hurt, he fought with everything he had left. Strikes, throws, counters, whatever it took to stay standing.
A metal pipe came at him. He blocked it with his arm, pain flaring instantly. Another tackled him from behind. Jay rolled, kicked the attacker away, and kept going.
But they kept coming. For every one he took down, two more stepped up.
Blows landed. One hit to the ribs made him gasp. Another to the jaw left him dizzy. Cuts opened up. Blood blurred his vision.
Despite his best efforts, Jay found himself overwhelmed. A particularly brutal hit to his side sent him crashing to the ground, and this time, he struggled to get back up. The remaining goons surrounded him, their attacks becoming more coordinated and relentless.
Just as Jay was about to succumb to their assault, a voice cut through the noice. "Enough! I want him alive."
The remaining eight or so goons halted their attacks and stepped back. Jay, battered and bloodied, looked up through his swollen eyes to see who had stopped the fight.
A car door opened not too far from them, and a figure stepped forward from the shadows.
Teenager Jay looked at the newcomers, his eyes widening as he recognized the one in the lead. His gaze then shifted to the unconscious figure that one of the bodyguards behind was carrying over his shoulder, his cousin, Lokesh.
