"That was her."
The figure said he held the tablet, watching the footage, he saw her eyes glowing vibrantly in the moonlight. And the portal is her personal one. The figure gave the tablet back to Judy as he looked at Shai, saying,
"You're right, it's her,"
"That means she knows of you, Judy. I'm not sure how much from what he has told me,"
"The other figure?"
"Yes,"
"Grudge still strong,"
The figure huffed, looking away from her questioning gaze,
"Yes, Shai, growing stronger by the minute,"
"At least you're learning,"
The figure scoffed at Shai's rhetorical remarks, he glared scathingly at her only for her to chuckle and a wide grin.
"I couldn't help, but figure you have to admit it's the truth, you're learning to hold a grudge against him is in all technicalities is learning,"
"I get that, Shai, but this isn't a matter to laugh about."
Shai's smile faded into a serious. He stared at the figure, determined, but something saddened lay further beneath.
"I understand figure, sometimes laughter is the only way to make a situation lighter."
He stopped staring at her softened, he understood where she came from must have been one of trial and quit suffering. Shai glanced at Judy, she seems like a fish out of water staring in between them, wondering when to but in,
"Shouldn't we pay attention to the dangerouse woman on the screen,"
The figure and Shai looked at the tablet, seeing the video replay again, The figure gaze went to Judy,
"Yes, we should, I will let him know this, but the gods, youwill have to tell them for me Shai,"
Shai stared at him unamused and said, "Is this because you don't want to tell, or are you and the other figure looking for something in your leader's building?"
"You saw right, thought that."
"It wasn't that hard to guess."
The figure let out a sigh when Judy asked him, "I need your help with something, if you can?"
"What would that be,"
The figure is curious about what she wanted, but he knew that it was about them, he had seen the video from the senate of her talking about them. She must want to know more of us but hasn't she seen the other figure already? did she ask him? The figure thought, Judy examined him to see if his reaction wasn't good, but not terrible either. He turned to her with a tender smile, trying not to seem so intimidating, saying,
"Is it about what I am? Haven't you already asked that?"
"I have, but I need to look into this and show it to the senate for them to take what your leader is doing seriously and with the utmost caution."
"I understand, Judy, have you tried looking for reincarnation?,"
"I have?"
Shai stared at them, fascinated, reincarnation? What would that have to do with them, Judy stares at him, seeing the other figure's image before his, grinning down at her with a wine glass in his hand saying something that's annoying.
"I get that I'm that good looking, but you can stop staring when you want to,"
"You do the same thing?"
The image of him faded away with the figures cloaked, one replaced it. Judy nods ,shaking her head after, trying to get that face out of her head,
"Yes, it doesn't stop, does it,"
"I'm afraid not,"
"He showed you didn't he?"
She stayed quiet, wondering what to say, but he already thought she knew now he asked,
"Yes,"
The figure let out a frustrated sigh, muttering under his breath about how the other figure is an unpredictable fool. Shai watched and listened to the more curious with each sentence,
"The figures have something to do with reincarnation?"
"That idiot showed what he is to you."
"He did,"
"Of course he did, is this why you're asking me?"
"Sort of, the other figure explained it enough,"
"Good, that means I don't have to go into all the details with you,"
"Yes, I still need something else cause I can research reincarnation, but i can get all kinds of answers to my question that aren't quite right."
"I understand, Judy, but try it differently,"
"How?"
The figure pointed to the spot between them, Shai and Judy moved for him to sit and he did, placing the tablet in his lap, pulling up a search engine, and pressing the translator.
"Agnostos Eikoan,"
It translated to unknown figures, the figure placed the tablet in Judy's hands, he glanced over the tablet, seeing some articles on their mysterious sitings but one caught his eye, it was the images of them attached to a platform,
"Try unknown figures in Greek then you will find more of us. If you want more guidance, check the images; you'll find more there."
Judy stared at him but then looked through the articles first. The figure glanced at Shai, seeing her looking away from him in her own mind. Deep within her thoughts, away from their conversation. The figure touched her arm carefully, and it made Shai look to him confused,
"Staring out?"
"Vaguely,"
"That's a new one,"
Shai remembered her dream before waking up, talking to Judy when he appeared, after letting him and Judy have their own conversation for a minute, one thought rang through her. It interested her,
"Figuer,"
He stared at her, concerned, she was still tired and sick from before, only so much she could still handle. Shai looked at her hand curled into ball and then asked,
"What do you mean by reincarnation?"
"He didn't tell you?"
"No, he hasn't."
Judy peered at them and then said, "She was asleep as he explained it to me,"
The figure hummed as both he and Shai looked at each other. This isn't going to be easy for her to understand, but if Judy can be compassionate and think through what that idiot had shown her, then beyond a doubt Shai will understand.
"Do you want me to explain it to you, or do you want me to show you?"
"I want to hear what you mean by that, but if you deem it necessary, you can show me if you are ok with that."
The figure chuckled, thoughtful as ever but thinking through the problem, a woman soffen by nature, hardened by life. Seems like anyone today, but it makes an understanding person to do that and not be cold or malicious. But stern and strong enough not to burn it all away. That's the person he sees when staring at Shai,
"I will tell you, but I think it would show you too,"
"Ya sure,"
"It's the least i can do. After what you've done for me and him,"
The figure seethed at the end and straightened up his arm, pulling up his sleeve, showing a human arm. Shai, unbothered by it muttered,
"I thought you were some kind of urban tentacle monster, not human."
"What?"
He let out, staring at her, bewildered. She thought he was that, an image of a tentacle monster appeared in his mind with his cloak over it, he closed his eyes, flustered, letting out a chuckle, and said,
"Shai really this now?"
Shai could hold back a chuckle of her own. She smiled at him and gave him a wink,
"I made you laugh,"
"Yes, you did."
He took the hood of his cloak, placing it on his shoulders, and he looked at her with a smile that matched hers. He noticed her stunned look and uttered,
"What it's not what you thought, I know, but it's not too bad."
Shai didn't say anything, she just stared at him to breathless to speak. Shai stared at him having uneasiness, this familiarity. He has long black hair on the top but shaved on the sides, streaks of silver laid in the front of the hair with his red eyes staring at her worried. He has a sharp chin but soft in the rest, Shai blinked not saying a thing until she let out,
"Why where you hiding all that?"
"It's not that bad,"
He turned to Judy tapping her arm, Judy looked up at him from reading an arietcul about a object caught by a journalist, she stared at him expecting him in a cloak with blistering red eyes, but got what Shai saw, she flinched almost dropping her tablet, the figure held onot her thinking she may fall,
"A warning next time would be nice,"
"I'm sorry Judy but i just wanted your opinion,"
"On what?"
"How i look, Shai response was more then needed,"
"Its the truth thou,"
Judy scanned over him and Judy admits that he's dashing, she's just glade he didnt look like the other figure, Judy cleared her throat noticing how long she's been staring at him,
"You look good figuer,"
"I do?"
"Yes you do, now I'm going to let Claire look over this, do you need anything else?"
"No, not really, thank you for answering my qwesthion Judy,"
Judy gave him a nod and sent it to Claire, the figuer turned back to Shai cautious,
"Shai you don't recognize me?"
"No i don't,"
"Good i didn't want to hurt you in a way,"
"That's good for her, just wished i was better prepared for when it happend to me," Judy muttered
