Where is the other pair of eyes?
People subconsciously moved forward, wanting to get a closer look, but just as they took two steps, they heard the siren's bell-like laughter:
"Looking for my eyes? I advise you not to do that, because if you find them, naturally, I will see you, and then... you will turn into stone."
Everyone froze, not daring to move.
The game hadn't started yet, and they hadn't gotten their swords; turning into stone at this point would be too much of a loss!
"Ah... but, if everyone is afraid to come forward, then the game cannot continue, so there are rewards as well." The siren said cheerfully, "When I use the other pair of eyes, the person closest to me can ask me a question."
"Is that also considered a reward?" someone questioned, "How does asking questions benefit us?"
