Aleck stared at her, still catching his breath from training, while Rai crossed his arms, visibly trying to process the situation.
"So… let me get this straight," Rai began, still eyeing Aranea with disbelief. "You're saying you're here for Aleck's first level of Metanoia? As in… the awakening thing Summoners do with their Familiars?"
Aranea nodded. "Yes. That's exactly why I'm here."
Aleck blinked. "But… I didn't even know I was a Familiar until… like… five minutes ago."
"I know," Aranea said with a small smile, stepping closer toward the both of them. "That's why I had to come here. Metanoia only activates when a Summoner and their Familiar connect on a subconscious level. Irving wanted us to have it."
The Fire Familiar widened his eyes in surprise. "Irving? The Legendary Lightning Familiar, Irving?"
"Yes," Aranea confirmed confidently, remembering that he's the same batch as him. "He is also my Familiar!"
