Xue Bingxue turned around, and the door was pushed open from the outside. Panicking, he exclaimed, "Wei'er, Wei'er."
Jiang Wei'er walked in, her footsteps smeared the soup on the floor, her eyes eerily calm, "What did you do at Linsu's place?"
He remained silent.
Xu Jiuru tried to gloss over the incident, "You're mistaken, Wei'er."
She didn't believe Xu Jiuru, and looking at Xue Bingxue, she asked again, "What on earth did you do?"
He still didn't make a sound, the panic and helplessness clearly visible in his eyes.
He was feeling guilty.
Jiang Wei'er took a step back, her eyes suddenly filled with stormy waves, no longer calm, "Fine, if you won't talk, I'll find out myself." With that, she forcefully pushed the door open and ran out.
"Wei'er!"
Xue Bingxue snapped out of his reverie, hastily chasing after her and grabbing her, "Don't go."
Jiang Wei'er stopped, turned her head, her gaze burning as she stared at him.
"Then explain it to me."
