Jethru, Manu, and the others scattered when they saw Eztein charging at them. However, they soon realized he wasn't after them. He flew straight toward the man writhing in pain.

They immediately changed direction when they understood Eztein's true goal. They gave chase, trying desperately to stop him.
A massive surge of mana swirled around the spear.
Eztein didn't look back. He gripped the spear tightly in his hand, raised it, and swung with all his might.

A wave of highly concentrated triple-elemental energy burst from the spear. It tore through the air and mercilessly engulfed the man in its path.
