Huo Yiqin was disturbed from his thoughts when he heard "I am not some man. I have a name, it's Rick."
Ning smiled at his answer which was noticed by him. Rick was happy to see Ning but did not like this person.
Huo Yiqin: "You are just a person who had come to repair, if you speak in that way we will send you out."
"I won't work for those who don't give respect for others or their work. I can go no need to send me by yourself." Rick turned around to move.
Ning got agitated by Huo Yiqin's way of talking and said "Rick wait." Rick stopped and turned. Ning turned towards Huo Yiqin "See, you can't speak like that to others and by the way it's you who will send him out, not me."
Yiqin got angry by the way she spoke in front of someone "Ning, what is this? Did you listen just now what he said? And you are telling me?"
"It was you who spoke first in a rude way."
"I am telling you, you are speaking harshly to me. You are supporting him as if you know him very well that he is a very good man. You are insulting me in front of this poor scoundrel."
"Huo Yiqin" Ning shouted loudly. Both were startled at her shrill tone. "What rights do you have to call him in that way? Don't cross your limits."
Father Wu and Mother Wu came inside at the loud voice and they heard her speak.
Mr. Wu: "Ning, What happened? Why are speaking in that way?"
Before Ning could answer, Huo Yiqin said "Uncle, this boy spoke to me harshly, that's why I scolded him. So Ning is shouting at me."
Ning glared at him angrily "Nice, Good answer. So it's not your mistake. Great. Thank You for your help. You can go, if doors are not open please kindly open them and leave."
Rick was silently watching Ning, the way she is speaking. He likes everything about her.
Mr. Wu: "Ning, it's me who called him for help. Don't speak in that way."
"Dad please, firstly he is the one who spoke rudely to him, so Rick just gave an answer." She turned towards Rick and said "Actually you gave right answer for the way he spoke." Then she turned to her dad and said "For that he called Rick a scoundrel."
Huo Yiqin: "Uncle, yeah I told, I apologize to you."
Ning: "You must apologize to him, not my father."
Rick thought this was becoming huge and interrupted "Hey, sorry it was all because of me I think. I will leave."
"See Huo Yiqin, this is him. He won't speak rudely until and unless others speak."
Yiqin was very angry and didn't want to shout in front of her parents "Uncle, Aunty I will leave. Bye."
Huo Yiqin left the room angrily. Mr. Wu followed him.
Mr. Wu: "Hey sorry for all this. You know right how is Ning."
Yiqin: "Yeah Uncle I just wanted to be friends with her, so I brought that repair man so that I will be of help for Ning. But because of him all this happened."
Mr. Wu: "And thanks for bringing someone for help. It will become normal, forget it."
Yiqin: "Okay uncle, I will leave."
Inside the room
Mrs. Wu: "Ning, you should have not spoken to him in that way. He had come to help since we called him. Because of some stranger who had come to repair you insulted him."
Mr. Wu entered the room and said "Leave don't shout at Ning, she said right he was the one who started first."
Mrs. Wu: "You will always speak for her."
Mr. Wu: "Now leave that." He turned towards Rick. "And you what's your name?"
He turned his gaze to Mr. Wu and said "Rick"
"Yeah Rick, if my daughter supported you then I think you are good person. Okay now start the work. Sorry for all this what happened."
"No problem sir, it's not your fault. I will start to work."
"Okay. Ning we will go, if you need anything call." Mr. Wu and Mrs. Wu left the room.
Ning was silent, deep in her thoughts. Rick didn't wanted to disturb her and started to check the wires which were open. Ning saw him working and said what happened to the system and what all she found was not working.
Ning: "So this happened and over here it was .."
Rick cut her off "You could have not shouted at him."
At his words, she turned towards him, his eyes were fixed to the work. She smiled and turned.
Ning: "Why shouldn't I? It was his mistake."
Rick: "Yeah, but he is your friend right. And you have seen that I wantedly spoke harshly."
Ning: "I know you won't do it wantedly. Anyway, he is not my friend. Don't call him my friend."
Rick hesitantly said "You got to know me in just one day?"
Ning smiled but did not answer.
Outside Wu Edifice
Huo Yiqin clenched his fists. He was waiting for that person to come outside. He was very angry at that man thinking that Ning supported him.
He said "Ning, you crossed all the limits this time. I controlled every time, I was still speaking nicely to you but you.. I won't leave you and that boy. These many years I was being very nice to you just because I wanted you to marry me wholeheartedly. But now, I will force you to marry me. Wait and watch. Tomorrow I am going back. But I will come twice a year. After your graduation, I will put a proposal to your father and you must marry me even though you don't like to or you love anybody."
Just then he saw Wu Siqi coming "Hey Siqi, done with your project?"
"No, still half is left. I will do it in father's laptop."
"If you want I can give you my laptop for now."
"No, thanks. And is the system working?"
"No, I went to some electronic shop and brought some repair person. He is working, he speaks very harshly I don't think he can do it."
"Oh okay, bye." Siqi entered the house.
Inside the room
Ning: "What about changing this one?"
Rick: "Yeah, but that one should be grounded."
Rick turned towards her, her gaze was fixed down, she was trying to change something and checking.
A strand of hair fell to her face, since her both hands can't be removed from there, she moved her face to make it go back. But it fell again, she did it again. After three seconds it again fell. Rick smiled and slowly tugged it behind her ears. Ning turned towards him. When his hand touched her hair, she felt something, it was a different feeling which she never felt. She started staring at him, even his gaze was fixed to her eyes and his hand was still behind her ear. Half a minute was over still they were in same position staring at each other.
They suddenly started doing what they were working when they heard "Sis".
Wu Siqi entered the room "Is it done?"
"Yeah almost done. He just started about ten minutes ago and it's already done. Just few seconds."
"Oh" Siqi thought about what Huo Yiqin said. It did not take him much time to know why he said like that. He was after his sister from a long time. Maybe seeing his sister speak to this person nicely made him angry.
Siqi thought for sometime and asked "Do you both know each other?"
Rick and Ning stared at each other for a second and answered in unison.
Rick: "Yes, we are classmates."
Ning: "Yes, we are friends."
Siqi asked "What?" Then Rick said "Yeah, we are friends."
After a minute, Rick said "It's done, let's fix everything."
Both fixed all the screws and kept everything in their places.
"Thank You bro for coming at this time to help."
"No problem, What's your name?" Rick smiled.
"I am Wu Siqi." He showed his hand towards Ning "Her cute little brother."
Rick chuckled "Yes you are cute like your sister."
Ning's smile vanished, she felt some different kind of feeling and her cheeks turned light pink.
She said "Want water? I will get it wait."
She turned and walked out of the room hurriedly not wanting to show her face. Rick followed her "No, thanks I will leave."
They were in the hall now, Mr. Wu and Mrs. Wu were sitting on sofa and heard them come out.
Mr. Wu: "Is it done? It's working?"
"Yeah dad." Ning said turned towards Rick "I will drop you, at this time you won't get autos in this street."
Rick felt a bundle of happiness. Was this Ning? Today she was really like his friend, even in college.
Mrs. Wu was shocked "What?"
