On the stage, the battle between Guding and Carosus had been going on for a while.
Carosus was indeed stronger than Guding had anticipated, his combat power had reached the peak of a Six-star Half-step True Body. That wasn't all; the key was that this guy's speed was terrifyingly fast, having crossed a rank in strength, reaching the level of the peak of Seven Stars Half-step True God.
With Guding's eye power, he simply couldn't catch the opponent's movements, only a blur. Fortunately, Guding's Martial Arts Realm had reached the Transparent Realm, and despite being at an absolute disadvantage in speed, he could still sense the trajectory of his opponent's movement and judge the direction of the moves.
Thus, what the crowd saw below the stage was a white blur charging at Guding from various angles and trajectories. Guding, however, stood calmly in place, dissolving the opponent's offensive with various simple and effective moves.
Each collision of the white figure caused a fierce roar.
If it were not for the strong protective energy shield on the stage, the energy waves caused by their battle would have probably shaken out and formed a terrifying storm.
"That Carosus guy, even though he's fast, when he comes up against a Martial Artist with a strong Martial Arts Realm like Guding, it's like hitting an impenetrable fortress, completely at a loss for what to do."
The Sixth Floor of the Purgatory Gate was filled with strong fighters, all with astounding vision, and most could see that in this battle, Carosus stood no chance against Guding.
"Yeah, Carosus's high-frequency attacks are a huge strain on his body while Guding relies entirely on his Martial Arts Realm, which hardly burdens his body at all. If this continues, once Carosus's stamina decreases and his speed slows, Guding should have no difficulty winning this fight."
"That's too early to say; don't forget, Carosus is from the Blood Clan. Once he Transforms, his combat power will rise by at least one rank, and his speed will correspondingly increase. If Guding only relies on his Martial Arts Realm, he probably won't be able to withstand it."
"That's true. But Guding, that guy, since he has chosen to challenge, must have some trump cards, right? These past few days in his challenges, he's only used close combat abilities. He hasn't used any other tactics even once."
Some people also noticed this.

Reid and Belinda had also arrived from the Arena, having made their way down from the First Floor. They quickly found the eighth stage and stood at the back of the crowd, watching Guding's fight from afar.
"Going by what we see, Guding will lose this fight," Belinda opined after only a short observation.
"Why do you say that? He's clearly on top right now." Reid asked, then his gaze fell on Carosus, "Does that guy in white have some kind of trick?"
"That guy in white, named Carosus, is from the Blood Clan. Right now, he's only fighting Guding in his normal state. If he Transforms, not only will his combat power be boosted to the peak of Seven Stars Half-step True God, but his speed will also increase significantly, reaching the level of an Eight-Star Half-step True God."
"We've seen Guding's trump card moves too. One is summoning the Demon Face to attack the opponent. Another is summoning World Star for ranged attacks. But given the opponent's speed, Guding's trump cards will hardly be effective against Carosus."
Belinda was not optimistic about Guding; it's indeed very difficult to handle opponents that excel in speed, not to mention that Carosus himself was already stronger than Guding.
"Summoning World Star?!" Upon hearing this, Reid was surprised. Being a recipient of a True God's legacy, he certainly knew what summoning World Star meant. He had never imagined that Guding would possess a Miniature World; even with all the information about Guding he had studied recently, there was no mention of this fact.
"It's normal for you not to know, because we only found out he had a Miniature World right before he was captured. The Federation Government hasn't recorded this information," Belinda quickly added.
While the crowd below was discussing the state of the battle, Carosus, who had been attacking without success for some time, was finally getting impatient.
He suddenly flashed back, retreating sharply.
Suspending his slender form in the Void, he looked down coldly at Guding, "A Martial Arts Realm in the Transparent Realm, that's a bit unexpected. Truly the Era Monster of the Human Camp. But, the more this is the case, the more satisfying it feels to defeat you. I'm tired of wasting time with you, let's have you witness my true strength."
Guding also looked indifferently at his opponent, guessing that he was probably preparing to Transform, but he didn't plan to stop it. Because he felt clearly that if he could withstand an even stronger impact, he might touch the Genetic Chains of a Middle-level God.
