Humming the opera of the Magic Shooter, Ripvan Winkle swayed left and right in a dance upon the deck, then she turned her head to look into the distance—where she saw three fighter jets emerging from the mists, rapidly descending in altitude and, upon locking onto the aircraft carrier, immediately launching missiles.
