Three days later, Jasmine Yale arrived in Old York, and she brought Sweet Kitty along with her.
Early in the morning, she left her luggage at the hotel and quietly headed to the bank where Yukon Carbon worked.
Today was a workday, and she planned to sneak a peek at what he was doing, though she wasn't sure if she'd be able to see him.
Following the address, she stood at the bank's entrance, looking around.
Just as she was getting anxious from not spotting Yukon,
"Beep beep" —
A car honked behind her.
Jasmine turned around hurriedly, and to her surprise, it was Yukon's car!
She ran over with a smile and approached the driver's side, "Hey, I was about to look for you at the bank."
Yukon Carbon, seated in the driver's position, curled his lips into a smile, "Why have you come?"
"To see you."
"Why didn't you call me in advance?"
"I wanted to surprise you," Jasmine laughed. "Sweet Kitty is here too."
