Mei Xing cried in pain as she tried to sit up in bed. It's only 4.30am but she had to wake up early because her period suddenly come earlier than usual. Thanks to the additional pain she had to endure after being kicked yesterday, her period cramps felt worse.
" Such a bad timing...." she murmured.
Class starts at 7.30am. She normally leave at 6.55am. It takes roughly 20 minutes to reach school but today she couldn't bear the pain while walking. So while waiting for the taxi to arrive, she put on her earphone and play her favourite music. At the same time, she recalled back the incident from last night.
" I live in this apartment. Outsiders are not allowed to enter without the resident's permission. You should head back now..."
Mei Xing turns her head and look at Jun Hong, waiting for him to leave. But what he said next was something she didn't expect.

He quickly run towards Mei Xing to check on her. He kneeled down and carried her in his arms.
" Mei Xing? Mei Xing!"
Seeing her showing no response, he hurriedly carry her to the nurse office. Luckily for him, the nurse was present so she asked him to wait outside while she checked on Mei Xing.
15 minutes later....
" She's going to be fine after some rest. I've also given her some painkillers to ease her menstrual pain."
So it was just because of that? Jun Hong was about to feel relieved but then the nurse asked him a question that made him startled.
" What happened to her? "
" Huh? "
The nurse then walk towards her desk and sit with her legs crossed. Then she gestured him to take a seat. The moment he sit down, the nurse lean forward and have a serious look on her face.
" Jun Hong, Mei Xing have a lot of bruises at her abdomen area. If not for her strong abs, she wouldn't have been able to even stand. It seems like she's been kicked really hard in the stomach...
Do you have any clue what happened to her? "
" I... I'm sorry... "
" Sorry for what? For not knowing or for not able to tell? "

" Anyways, Mei Xing just recently transferred to our school so it would be bad if she's being bullied or involved in anything dangerous. "

Taking a deep breathe before wanting to explain further, but then the nurse interupt him.
" Don't worry. I know you're actually a good boy despite having this bad boy image. For now, the least you can do is to wait until she wakes up right? I'll inform your homeroom teacher later together with Mei Xing's."
" Sure.. Thank you."
