The story begins with Alex, our main character, and his family—his father John, a dedicated Navy officer; his stepmother Monica; and his younger sister. As John prepares to return to his naval duty, the family accompanies him to the airport to say goodbye. Life moves on normally for a year—until one day, a tragic message arrives. John has been severely injured in an attack and is now unable to walk.
The family rushes to the hospital, where they find him confined to a wheelchair. The doctors advise that he will need to remain hospitalized for two more weeks before he can be discharged. While this devastating news shakes the family, Monica reacts differently—she doesn’t seem particularly affected.
Soon after, Monica informs Alex that she will be moving into his room, claiming John needs space and peace during his recovery. What starts as an awkward arrangement gradually evolves into something unexpected—Monica and Alex grow closer, and a secret, forbidden relationship begins to blossom.
Even after John returns home, their hidden affair continues. However, John becomes increasingly suspicious and calls Monica’s sister—Alex’s aunt—for help in uncovering the truth.
One day, during a secret shopping date, Monica and Alex are caught in a compromising situation by the aunt. After a tense confrontation and unexpected confessions, the story takes another turn—Monica’s sister admits her own feelings for Alex. What began as a dangerous secret between two becomes a tangled web involving three.
